  1. Well I'm just going to assume he didn't since there has never been any real suspicion that I know of. Don't ruin this for me.
  2. I'd consider trading Dozier for Jose Fernandez. I'd probably want a couple prospects too though.
  3. It is a moral issue because 1. you're breaking the rules and 2. you're taking drugs to artificially make yourself better, hurting the chances of those who want to play only by their natural abilities. Even if MLB made HGH legal, I'm sure there would still be mixed emotions by players on whether or not they felt morally right about taking drugs to artificially improve themselves.
  4. Dee Gordon is so fast to begin with though. The risk doesn't seem to be worth the reward.
  5. Legal in the MLB or legal in general? I'm not aware of any PEDs legal in the MLB, so I'm assuming you meant the latter. Whatever MLB says you can't take, then don't take it. I want everyone to be on an even playing field.
  6. If they break a leg or get a headache, I think Advil or Tylenol is ok . Take whatever drugs are legal and your body will recover when it recovers. If it never recovers, well then that's sports.
  7. Taking drugs is like artificially getting better. I respect guys like Jim Thome who played through that era but played the game at a high level through their natural talent combined with hard work.
  8. I'm sure a lot of players wouldn't take drugs that could have negative side effects on their bodies, and putting those players at a disadvantage just isn't right.
  9. Totally disagree. Even playing field.
  10. How do you throw a shutout in the minor leagues without recording a strikeout? Also, 10 hits in 4.1 innings for Tyler Jay, with 0 strikeouts. I was not expecting Jay to be off to such a rough start.
  11. Dee Gordon would have been really low on my list for guys who I would think are using PEDs. I really enjoyed watching him play, but wow is this a surprise.
  12. Dee Gordon suspended 80 games for steroids... What???
  13. There are plenty of players who should be at DH, and those two certainly should never take up that spot.
  14. No, actually Drew Butera netted Miguel Sulbaran, who netted Eduardo Nunez, so another pretty good trade.
  15. Right now it's easy. Danny Santana is hot, so have him bat first, slide everyone up, and put Dozier behind Park and Arcia. Also, we don't know if Polanco is ready yet or not because he's never gotten a chance. The little time he has played, he's looked good.
  16. I'd add Kyle Gibson to that list.
  17. Buxton-Polanco-Kepler is probably the ideal 1-2-3 in the near future. Maybe Mauer 2nd and Polanco 9th for as long as Joe is playing well.
  18. Brian Dozier's got one of the weakest arms I can remember seeing. I have no idea how he stayed at shortstop for so long.
  19. Or just keep Sano at 3rd and they can all play.
  20. They've got to play Danny while he's hot at the plate. That double that he gave up was so frustrating though. He's got to lay out for that ball.
  21. I loved seeing Casey be able to break out the fist pump again. It's been a while.
  22. I like this pronunciation the best, but I know Dick says BUR-eos. I wonder what Bert will come up with. I could see him going with BAR-eos for no reason.
  23. 4 walks? I hope he's not that nervous. 7 IP 1 ER 8 Ks.
  24. Oh yeah... Well then I have no idea what they're doing.
  25. What is the correct pronunciation of Berrios? Is it bur-rios or berry-os? I've heard it both ways and was just wondering if anyone knew which it is.
