    he'll be arbitration eligible for the first time next year...can't be a FA until 2018. I can't imagine them just letting him go.

    Revere isn't exactly tearing it up either...he has an OPS of .600 and an OBP over .300 because of his last game...before that, he was mid .560s in OPS with an OBP under .300. Much better than our CF right now, but that bar is extremely low and not the barometer worth looking at. Let's see how May turns out...

    You assume correctly. This is, in no way, a rant against the Pohlads. It's me looking for info and nothing more or sinister behind it.

    There are some fans on another site who think the Pohlads are getting ready to sell the team. I was saying I didn't think they could (not do I think they would). I also remember there was some language in the agreement about them not being able to sell the team without having to pay back a chunk of the money they got from the county and that for every year they kept the team the percentage they would have to pay back would lower until such a time where it would hit zero and they could sell the team without a fine.

    Does anyone have the specifics about how long before the Pohlads can sell the team and what kind of hit they take if they do as far as paying back some of what the county paid for? I am not suggesting, hoping, wanting this to happen. I'm just looking for the specifics if anyone has it. A link perhaps. Thanks.

    It doesn't matter to me if he plays or not. What I'm defintely not interested in seeing is a guy who has no business being in the OF playing in the OF...

    Well, that makes perfect sense...after all, he's almost 30 and he's played a whopping 13 games in the OF between indy ball and the minors over the last 8 or 9 years... But hey, he's played 4 game this year in the OF and had two chances during those games...I'm sure he's ready for the major league OF.. That heavy snark isn't directed at you crarko, just my frustration that Gardy believes anyone can play anywhere so he just plugs them into wherever. This is the majors, hard enough to play ONE position well enough to get here and be major league quality.
