    Pino had just enough to get thru 5. I hope after ten years in the minors he can get #1 up here tonight.

    I caught the last half, after golf. Funny how the memory goes. I was there, and didn't remember much!

    I'm sure they all think that, and rightfully so. I've felt that way all year.

    It seems to me Dozier takes a lot of belt high fastballs, and let's it loose on the one's up in the zone, some way up. Hopefully he's not up there trying to jack it out, but just get on base. Hit singles, take the doubles when they come and build on that. He needs to be a lot better than hitting in the .230's. And now the joke of the homerun contest? No way should he participate in that. He's messed up enough now anyway, and I do agree that the time off and heading home might help. I don't know how sticking around and trying to jack can possibly help him straighten out his mess in the box.

    I bit. I had to get up and look in my laundry room to check, but I'm safe. A couple of doily's there for the wash though.

    He's earned it? Not in my lifetime he hasn't. I don't think it's right, but then, it's just a show anyway.

    I try to keep Suzuki. First one's out to pasture are Plouffe and Nolasco on my list.

    Have a nice trip. This should be a fun series, and I think it ends in a split. Tonights game is should well be worth the price of admission.

    Nope, rubber band has melted into a puddle of another kind. But last nights game was a nice change of pace. Man, we've got a lot of low batting averages.

    No, Joe's not getting old. I am. Over twice as many birthdays as Joe. He's not 100% this year though. More concussion related than anything else is my bet.

    Yes, the rubber band has broken, it snapped big time. Face it, this team just isn't very good. Think about it, any team that counts on Plouffe and Nunez coming off the DL to improve it belongs in last place.

    Some how, some way, we need to score runs. I've been so bad watching that today I'll go hit a round ball with a big club and go after an occasional par, and let the guys hit without my grumblings.

    So what will Nolasco bring today, his so so 5 innings and mail it in again in the 6th? He's been a flop so far and we need a win in this series.

    If Plouffe is ready I'd send him to AAA for 2 weeks. I like Esco at 3rd, and now Polanco is here.

    Jorge will make more money today than he ever has in his life! I hope he gets to play some the next few days. And that Santana isn't hurt to bad. No reports on his injury yet?

    I'm surprised! What a thrill for Jorge, and now speculation as to when Buxton would of been called up. I hope he shows himself and has success.

    I thought Dozier should have swung at the second called strike, outside part of plate, perfect to move Santana over. That was key there.
