  1. Just a feeling from afar, but I think Max is finally healthy this year. So many nagging injuries in the past seasons.
  2. May's got the short string here. More time in AAA wouldn't do him any harm.
  3. I'll give Harrison some love here, and the nod. 5 rbi's is an excellent night.
  4. Loved the question from Jack to Dick, " Why is it some of the best closers in baseball are tough to watch". Perk certainly is one of them, but we win again!
  5. So what's on the level here, the water or the house?
  6. There's been some excellent pitching in the minors this year, and yesterday continued that. I'd have to give Malone a slight edge here though.
  7. Mollie made a great call for the hit and run with Suzuki at the plate as he goes to right field a lot, and moving poof to 3rd was critical. So he hit's a double and poof gets all the way to 3rd. Chalk this loss up to poof.
  8. Very poor base running by poof cost us a run there. And we are going to need runs.
  9. Let's see Gibson's streak of 17 scoreless grow tonight.
  10. Halsey is back after spending a few days at the VA and getting sliced and diced for a double hernia. Hurt like hell but good to be home. So as far as poof goes, it's good to see him flashing leather one day and hitting the next recently. I doubt he'll keep it up, but I like to see wins, so hope he does. No extension or any thoughts along those lines though.
  11. Somehow the Red Wings are 16-12 despite having Alex Meyer. He needs to get out of Rochester, and go back down to Ft Myers and figure out what pitching is. He could well be a short timer in this organization.
  12. That's the way I see it, and see no wrong with it either. Give Roserio a taste. It's only 2 weeks. I don't think they have any intentions of sending down Hicks again. When he comes up he either plays or is traded. The Twins will get a better feel for what they have in Roserio for later in the year when some changes are surely to be made. This is a test run.
  13. I thought for sure Perkins would go back to a fastball that last pitch. Slider fooled me and the hittter, ball game.
  14. Did Torii ever kiss that fastball. So much for losing bat speed!
  15. I do say, our second baseman is much better than theirs.
  16. Neil Allen shouldn't have to go out and get Hughes off the fastball. Suzuki should have done that alot earlier.
  17. When I read the title my first thought was it would be Shibuya, but I don't keep up as closely as some do.
  18. Pelf figured as long as he had a chance to tie Bert's record, he might as well.
  19. It's no wonder this is the first place I visit in the morning with my coffee and doughnut.
  20. Thanks for writing this Mat. Very informative and interesting read from you guys perspective.
  21. I'd love to see Pelfrey continue his success throughout the season. That's good for the Twins and a good payday coming for him. He won't be with us next year, so don't even bother thinking extension.
