I don't see any way Poof can play outfield. He gets slower every time he gets out of bed. We had a decent outfield last year and I'd hate to see that drop off a cliff. Neither should Sano be in the outfield, he's a third baseman. So one of these guys has to go, and it's easy to see which one.
Having seen Buxton in Ft Myers and his brief stints with the Twins I have my doubts about his plus plus arm. So maybe SD or someone who has seen more of him can compare it with, say Rosario and Hicks. Thanks.
I'd hate to see Justin get hurt again, as I'm sure he'll guard against. So just maybe he'd agree to be the full time DH. I'd much rather we brought him back than Cuddy. Then again, maybe Morneau will just retire to his family and cars.
Thanks for the reports. Been a long time playing ball for some of these guys, as some were down there in January. I hope to be back down this winter, but have no place to stay this year. If you hear of anything not to expensive, please let me know!
Nope, being honest. I thought they said 13, but either way he's got to tempt them off the plate with 2 strikes. Like that slider down last night. He's given up some big hits on 0-2 counts. We'll probably need him a couple more times this year so let's hope he's back to first half form.
That was just what the announcers said as they were going nuts. They've probably never walked back there themselves. It was a blast though, wherever it landed.
I listened to the game and it was a bit hairy there in the 2nd but DJ got out of it scoreless. A fun game, a loud crowd and a great way to end the season. Kepler's blast landed in the parking lot. Probably the last of Dougie M in the Twins organization.
