I'd have Max as untouchable also. I sure hope he stays and it's great to see him healthy and raking this year. A friend was at Rochester's game 2 nights ago and said Arcia was trying to pull everything. Thick between the ears? Ryan better do something quickly though.
His pitches certainly don't seem to have much movement, and when they're down the middle they travel a long ways. If that doesn't change it's going to be a dreadful trudge to the end of the season.
Biggest contributor to this loss is by far poof. I'd like to see him in civies in left field stands with a glove in one hand and a sign in the other saying "hit it to the seat next to me".
I don't see much being done other than adding someone for the pen and maybe a bench player in the infield. Our chances are slim and none even if we do win a wild card spot. Don't dip into the future just to get a one and done.
Great work as usual, Seth. It's nice to see Max having a good year. I'd leave him be though to finish out in the minors. Somehow Beresford keeps it up. He deserves a Sept call up.
The Twins just aren't as good as those teams on the west coast. Not knowing the records, the same could be true with the Dodgers, though we might be better against the Padres.
