    Cool inside information about our best pitching prospect! Thank you for sharing! Do you know if Jose is coming back to live with you next summer? I don't know. I'm going to spring training in March ( i still have about 30 "baseball sons" in the organization). I try to get all of them out to dinner. We have to work around English lessons! I usually have a list of 13 or so that want to stay here if they come to Elizabethton. I find out about 4 or 5 days before they get on the bus in fort myers who is going to be here. gracias querida dios te bendiga

    read in another site that he can hit 98mph , dont know if its true was from another poster. but about the only succses terry lyan had last year was sifting through the blue light special bargin bins , so maybe he can do it again, even though we need some front line pitchers any thing helps

    joe spencer a 24 year old reliever with a .315 era over 2 seasons and izturis,to solidify our middle infield

    i think sign all , baker blanton marcum and dempster, yes that puts us way over the self imposed cap, but come the end of june , if we are not in the hunt or flat out leading the division , we trade 3 or 4 pitchers...to me with whats avalible in the minors even if we get to respectability, we are not going to sustain it with such glaring and obvious holes, we now seem to only beable to draft and develope centerfielders

    agreed , id like to add a running mate for him in shohei otani , they would make a nice 1-2 punch for any team in 2015-2016

    most are born twins fans , or you aquire the feeling from great proformances, which is why most in baseball are not twins fans , many at 1 time like the twins as there 2nd favorite team , but that number is deminishing every year , and will continue till the 3 stooges are gone and serous and real baseball minds are making the decisions here

    you remembering to factor in salary inflation?and remember we are paying blackburn 5.5 not to pitch?but totaly agree that its the lenght of the contract maybe needs to be 4 years with vesting for year 5 and 6? but signing sanchez and trading for shields is a great start to building a rotation if you ask me

    so a 38 year old is an ok signing but a 32 year old switch hitter with a career .273 average wouldnt compliment him? with alexi gone and being replaced by escobar and field,i hope they find enough money for someone else or trade for 1

    with the twins keeping ron gardenhire and allowing him to keep ullger,joe the notebook of failure(stolen ) vavra and dick anderson (yes i realise its rick , but i think hes more of a dick kinda guy),im surprised sal butera wasnt given a coaching position and that nick punto wasnt resigned to keep ronnie in his comfort zone and to reunite the gardy skirts in the dirt gang, well at least this was a pleasent surprise

    im just afraid from past experiance that we end up with corriea and slowey in our rootation ,or marquis or sliva or ,or,or dempster on a 2-3 year deal isnt bad ,add in a shields or johnson and you got the start of a much better rotation then we have seen in many a year

    i guess my point was , if we go in house are we not banking our in field succses on a pair of prospects who struggled last year, if we sign another good utility infielder who can do a decent job at short, then dozier and florimon can take that job rather then worry about losing it ...im all for these 2 kids stepping up and being solid players, but if they dont watching another 40+ errors and a .235 avg, is gonna be hard to mustar a solid infield

    with brian dozier and pedro florimon both struggling to make shortstop there own , did we miss an oppertunity to lift the succsess of the franchise off there shoulders by signing maicer izturis as our 2nd utility infielder and insuring we would have an option at shortstop this year?

    with our farm being non factors in rebuilding our rotation , i think we need young guns and old ones as well if we can trade for 1 or 2 arms and sign 1 or 2 arms , then if we dont get in the race we have pieces to deal for prospects to rebuild our farm system ,as bad as the twins are pitching wise i cant see throwing away all of our decent prospects ,like ramos for capps ....with gibbson either starting in the pen our in rochester, why not sign dempster to a 2 year deal then trade him in june,and install gibby?2 things would happen , fans would believe we are trying and buy more tickets , and 2 we would help restock the AA and AAA teams with quality starters from trading ...
