    Defender to the end... Why are the Twins in the basement? Because senior advisior to the general manager didnt do his job....While credit is due for Ryans ability to crawl through the garbage heaps to find a handful of servicable players, you cant field a winning team this way.Imagine if Joe mauer did his catching like Terry does his job? Say Joe hits .345,frames pitches great but he doesnt ever throw to 2b , how long would Mr. Mauer be a starting catcher in the major leaques? Same is true of Terry Ryan , while he may be good at some areas of his job , he fails terribly in other aspects.

    What can you tell me about High schooler Carlos Salazar? rhp , 4 pitches, 97mph fastball, why isint there more interest in him?

    My roster moves 1 Mastroianni to 60 day DL 2DFA woods 3 DFA drew.......wait for it.........Butrea Send down Hicks Parmelee and Pelfrey if he doesnt impress tonight . And call up Richardson,Colabelo and Samuel Deuno.....

    Im guessing Gibson will have things ironed out once the super 2 date has elasped.... and rightfully so, with the teams inability to draft and develope quality starters , we want to hang on to the couple we do for as long as posible....good move. also Samuel Deuno has earned it, last year and this spring ....

    You cant understand why the front office would wait for a highly touted starter who we have been waiting years for, to want to wait till he is in his home stadium , where he will sell 5,000 extra tickets or so? As for hernandez he should be Swarsac lefty conterpart or used as a lefty specialist( we need to prove Mr. Ryan made a good trade after all)

    would be different if the 2 outfielders were playing like Harper or Trout. Waldo is hitting ok , but reminds me of a faster Willingham in the field , as for Mr. Hicks he should get some time in AAA with a callup in september , if he goes down and works at his craft...

    What does any one know about the 18 year old Salazar? 97mph fb and 3 additional pitches.. Not saying he should be taken #1 , but i fail to how he can be ranked so low? Anyone have more insight on him ?

    I have counted 9 games so far this season where he stayed to long with a pitcher , trying to get him through the 5th or 6th inning , where everyone could see ,said pitcher was struggling and it ended up costing us the game....not that we would have won all 9 , but even if we won 5 out of the 9 , then once again we are above .500

    Thanks for great article , is nice to hear that Colabelo can play the outfield as well as 1b , hopefully we see him up with the twins soon

    My question is this, Why isint Carlos Salazar ranked higher then he is? A high schooler hitting 97mph, along with 3 other pitches.... hope we take him in the 3rd round if he is still avalible.....

    I hope Terry Ryan let the AAA manager get an ear full over that as well , If Glynn is so cavalier over Gibsons pitch limit and recovery , maybe we need to find a new manager , or is it that the Twins front office , ie. Evil Pete and Terry Ryan failed to express how they wanted Glynn to handle Gibson? Im sure we will never know, but I for one have seen the penny pinching imcopetense of these 2 dynamic dual in the past , and choose to believe they forgot to do there jobs....

    Bullcrunch... In fact Scott Boras has suggested this to more then a handful of teams ... Also ,im not saying throwing games , but by the end of May everyone knew we werent going to the post season. It would have been an ideal time to play Parmele , Dozier And maybe a handful of pitchers and other players.

    To me Gardy needs to flip flop Ham and Morneau , till Josh gets back on track, also moving Pony boy up and lowering Parm isnt a bad idea

    Why? Hicks is being asked to do a lot , why not let him have the season to adjust to MLB pitching before we ask him to be the leadoff hitter?
