    So they promote the special advisor of all the bad trades Bill Smith made? Well 1 reason would be because ownership wanted to return to dumpster diving. As for bill he deserves credit for getting us into the international market , and most of our top prospects were signed under Bill. When Mr. Ryan was brought back under the imtrem title, i was hoping his job would be to find a quality replacement to be the new G.M. But once i saw how he low balled all 4 of the free agents, I knew he was here to cut payroll....

    Me thinks your both right, especially when they play split games the twins will reach down into the minors camp and will bring up a couple of players ...And every player who will participate in the WBC is in the mlb camp to prepare for the turnement

    Im guessing Edwardos move to 2b , may not be his last.If Harris and Sano can not make the next step defensivly , we may see Rosario moved to 3rd

    Me thinks twins brass will wait and see how internal canidates do before signing Jim the giant Thome. As a fan i,d love to see Thome , but what is best for the team in the long run would to see if Colabello can cut the mustard and continue his cinderella story

    Wasnt he 1 of those guys the new stadium was suppose to allow us to keep? Some have stated we should sue for the return of public funding. I think we should (as a state) pony up another 162 million and take the franchise from the Pohlad family, making them a state owned asset insuring we will always have the Twins here in mMinnesota...

    Unless there is a player added during spring training , it seems to me that Joe Benson makes the team as the 4th outfielder as long as he is healthy. If it comes down to Clete or Benson why not take a chance on a guy who may have more upside? Joe already is on the outside looking in as far as Prospects are concerned, so lets give him a chance and see what he does with it?

    Not sure what the return will be for a rental player, if Justin gets off to a great start wouldnt it be better to sign him for a 2 or 3 year extention and wait and see if Parmele struggles? If Chis steps up then trading a player whos under contract should bring a better return, or if a team has interest allow them to talk extention before the trade.
