    Off subject , but i have a question about PTBN if the Twins made a trade , and it included a PTBN , could the said player be some one who was drafted in june of 2012 , if he wasnt sent untill after this years draft?

    Who would you keep a 30 year old career .183 hitting catcher or a 25 year old lefty who throws 98mph? If its my choice , i want 3 lefties in the pen <as Perkins is our closer i want 2 other left handed options, and are you saticfied with Robertsons 5.40 ERA or would you rather have a 98mph blazing fastballer in his place?

    If you always do what you have always done You always get what you have always gotten I think Terry finds more saticfaction in finding a marginal player that the other 29 clubs missed Then signing the player the other 29 clubs wanted...I think Ryan has good and bad attributes... But are they the correct match for us?

    Well lets think about it, if by chance Jose makes the twins and in july the angels need a reliever , we could probally get there 42 draft pick from the 1988 draft, i hear he is a mop jockey at 7/11, so at least we would have an assistant for Bill Smith as he makes his annual toilete inspections.

    Apperently we had enough pitching to allow Terry to pass on a 98 mph lefty in the rule 5 pick....the Twins could have made a 2nd selection in the 5 draft, but passed on Lara , right now here on planet earth how many lefties can throw 98 mph? but with Robertson on board we felt we had enough pitching.... The only way this make sense is if Terry is signing Jose in anticipation of adding another cuban and hoping Contreras will be a mentor...

    Um why would the Twins sign a 41 year old sore armed reliever? 1 of the teams strong points should be there bullpen, with the notible exception of the left side...with the team looking to a youth movement why waste time or resources on a player who will not be here when we need him , FREE SLAMA or 1 of the other internal candidates....

    Still need middle infielders , but the system is deffinatly on the right course ,since they decided to jump into the international market, and drafting strong arms instead of controll pitchers. this is 1 area we can all cheer for and a positive side to the organisation...

    we have several players projected as dh or 1b typesin our system all ready, yes i understand we have several outfielders also , but there are 3 outfielder spots and only 2, 1b/dh spots

    they failed to give johan a 6 year 20 million dollar deal but went 7 years at 23 per for joe? im not saying they goose step to the mound or any thing , but i think you see some slights. Santana should have won 3 cy youngs , and was young and the best pitcher at the time. just like joe was young and the best catcher at the time. As all twins fans i hope we get another ring in the near future , and yes i have been a negitive nell, but when we do do things that are positive i am right there cheering ...but i do not know how you can look at this off season and think that the only thing acomlished was cutting payroll, we started off building for the future , then went into the smoke and mirrors mold, a conflicting off season , then to have the front office claim we will contend this year, they lost all credibility

    2013 is just another game of 3 card monty, Terry keeps shuffling the players , but we never come up a winner

    Im guessing that like in the past sping training competition is a ruess and that decisions have already been made on 96%of the players. maybe the only real spot open is the last bullpen spot , keep a dreg or keep a rule 5

    So they fire the black guy and another guy whos entire job is to answer the phone and tell a pitcher to start warming up? The pitching coach who has shown a lack of ability to cultivate any thing other then meatball city pitchers, is safe so that the manager of back to back 95plus loss seasons will feel more comfortable?Personally after the 1st 95 loss season he should have felt very uncomfortable....

    Agent scott boras has suggested to more then 1 team to tank a season or 2 to improve there team .... also if you eliminate 33 million in payroll from your team over 2 years without having compitent replacements ready , what do you call it? Clearing a path way for guys 1-4 years away from joining the big team?
