Why? Heading into the off season you thought , if only we could get Saunders and Correia we could make a run at the divisional title? No we all knew we needed 2 front of the rotation starters, and what did we get? a big pile of steaming horse ploop and Ryan cuts more payroll... same ole song and dance...

how about adding ronnie cedeno? a youngish carroll ?
  6. johnnydakota
that was in 2012, today is what?

I thought this site had a anti Capps system? oh me bad, why resign Capps? if we have a roster spot (we do , no need to give butrea a spot on the 40 man roster) then why not claim tony abreu? If capps was a lefty by all means sign him , but i think we have plenty of canidants from the right side to fill out the pen.

Now your telling us who to follow? how to be fans?
  9. johnnydakota
Geez even Correia got more , and he left money on the table , remember?

Name a top free agent the twins offered a fair market deal to in the last 18 years?
  11. johnnydakota
Come to the dark side Brock feel the power grow with in you

If your wife sent you to the market to get eggs, bread, and a gallon of milk ,and you returned with a 12 pack of hams and a carton of luckys , do you think she would be happy? entering the off season 99.5% of the fans knew we needed 2 front of the rotation starters , and middle infield help. Now that the off season is soon to be over , our needs are 2 front of the rotation pitcher, middle infield help and a center fielder... the only thing Terry accomplished was the removal of 15 million dollars from the payroll ...well at least he is happy

So just a repeat of last year?
  14. johnnydakota
No , but it does call for a 72 hour phyc evaluation in the nearest mental facility

    The kool-aid has worn off
  16. johnnydakota
Not counting Diamond , no other twins pitcher started 20 games last year. Scott started 27 games, hard to have wins with no starts unless you a vulture
  17. johnnydakota
Hmmm so you believe your the only one who has ever played or coached? ok me bad
  18. johnnydakota
Im guessing Terry ment , Kevin Correia is a little bit better then last years Twins #5 pitcher....? Blackburn, marquis,Liriano Hendriks or Pavano?

The Minnesota Twins llc. put a bid in on a player from Japan , without ever seeing him play , but from watching some tapes... and that is not reckless thought process?
  20. johnnydakota
I believe you are correct sir. I also believe players salarys will increase 25% over the next 3 years so im sure it will be closer to 75 million in 2016
  21. johnnydakota
Yup just ask kubel, cuddy and nathan ....
  22. johnnydakota
Im interested in your opinion John, when do you see the Twins contending?
  23. johnnydakota
It would give them more room to add bars, you know to keep the fans drunk and unaware of the score
  24. johnnydakota
Do we have a couple of left handed relievers who can make the jump to the majors? I have little faith in Mr. Robertson, and question the lack of attention we had to fill the void or at least signing competition for that spot this off season.

Still got 5 more to trade if you ask me
