    interest yes, willing to pay ? no just like all these pitchers we have had interest in , once there agents tell us how much there looking for , we dont even make an offer. if Terry ryan signs 1 of these 2 cubans , i will literaly stop drinking for 90 days...

    i agree with not going far enough , to me the twins are straddling the fense , trying to fool the casual fans into believing we will do something and trying to add a piece or 2 on the sly.. which shows me they care only for profit margines and not the game... As for me i would much rather trade away joe justin and josh now and jaime ,doumit and perkins at the allstar break and watch quality prospects then suffer through a non factor season of watching the results of dumpster diving

    I fully expect Nick Blackburn to be spoon fed innings this spring training(softer minor leaquers)so his numbers appear better then they should, giving the Twins an exscuse to bring him north, so there is 1 spot that will be opening up in may or june for Pelfrey or Gibson

    You like Ryan are hoping for the best. If you look closer you will see Terry recieved 1 single A pitcher for an established c.f., what are the odds of any A player making it to the show, before you answer look at Mays in 2011 ,nice stats, but in AA Mays ERA is over 4.80 Looking at the lil Ben trade we recieved a 2 time sore armed back of the rotation starter and a guy who struggled in AA. To me i dont see how Me. Ryan has safe guarded our limited resources , but in fact has gambled them ....for 3 magic beans

    You made the point already...The issue is not spending money,but how it was spent...Correia is just this years version of Jason Marquis... and may i once again point out i said in early october once Ryan was done collecting garbage , we may wish we had Marquis back....

    The twins did miss the boat and very soon ownership and the fronty office will be claiming with poor attendance they can not compete for any free agents...yes it is very apperent that Ryan is once again looking for an end of the year bonus for cutting payroll, If jipppy Pohlad had come out and said , look we are in a rebuilding stage and we are cutting ticket prices 20%, I would have been happy to see joe and justin traded to texas and willingham being traded to seattle.But what did we get spoon fed? Money isnt an issue we have never turned down any figure our general asked for...= We just fire our general or reasign them if they want to spend money, in my opinion , Terry ryan is out of his eliment , and needs to return to being a cross checking scout.Ryan was very good at this job ,and the game has out grown him since (or before in my opinion) he stepped down the last time.If we get lucky this year it is posible to see an improvement to 75 win season , but if we continue with no luck, i can see 103 loss season on the horizion for OUR twins...yes they belong to us, we have cheered for them ,cried for them and in my case i was beat with a leather shaving strap because i jumped up and down on the couch when rod stole home, we have paid for them in finacing there new shiny stadium and in having an average 3 million + fans since target field has opened...ownership has failed us and they just dont care....

    liam hendriks? you remember diamond in 2011? hopefully liam gets a shot and runs with it ...he will never be an ace of the staff but certainly has the stuff to be a 3,4,5th starter especially for the twins

    I read an article last year about the teams that sent people to the Dominican Republic for the workout last year and questioned why no one from the twins went down, or at least why in the article that the twins representitives were not noted in attendance...

    so if you were on a team and your closer finshed taking a shower and came walking out wear bra and pantys and grab your butt that would be ok? no im not a homophob... but if a man has a problem because of his religous upbringing then you sit him down and show him from the bible that we are all gods children...you ask him what would jesus do? if this fails and it becomes a problem then you trade or release 1 of players.the fact that Tori is running his mouth again ,shouldnt affect us, if you dont like what he says , dont resd his tweets

    Will Terry pretend that Cuban players cant help the Twins or will we have someone in Mexocali Mexico on january 5th ,to watch the 2 kids from Cuba work out? Alvarez is a 24 year old outfielder and Diaz is a 22 year old shortstop. With Minnesota thin in both areas this year ,will we send someone down to watch and see if they are mlb players or have tools that could lead to a big leaque career? Or once again will Mr. Ryan bury his head in the sand like he did on Cespedes last year?
