    2012 payroll of 74 million? where did you get your information? in 2011 the Twins had a payroll of about 113 million.As you said the Pohlads will not accept a break even season ,add in a profit of 26.6 million and an increase in tv revenue of 25 million and where do you sit?

    Unless we have a pair of left handed relievers in the minors , I see a need there as Dunny may end up in the rotation at some point in the season ,and i am not sold on Robertson.

    At this point in the off season, when players that would of helped the Twins and could of been used as trade chips are off the market, i agree. If at the start of the off season if we had signed Marcier Izturis, he would have been the bar with which the kids needed to jump over or been plan B in case they (the kids Florimon and Dozier) struggled.As for pitching Dempster, Sanchez and Jackson would have been nice to have to mentor the younger pitcher ,and would have brought a nice package come july....Or next winter

    If he were to sign a 1 year /10 million(i think is under by about 4-5 million) Then couldnt we trade him at the break for a couple decent AA prospects? Basically getting to advanced prospects for one 2nd round pick?

    I thought we should of jumped on Izturis, but with that a non issue now, there really isnt much help out there, i think 2b will either have the gremlin or dozier. So in this case with what we could sign , standing pat doesnt bother me .

    I apoligise, for my writting punctiuation and spelling . when i was 12 years old , i was forced to work 2 jobs to pay my own way in life. Also as i now live in Mexico , my computer has a Columbian hard drive, that means the punctuation and letters of the keys dont line up when used in the english form May i suggest that if what i post offends you , maybe you could just not read anything with my name on it? i will always be a huge fan of the Twins , hope we see better times soon ...have a nice day
