    To add to my earlier comment......what they absolutely should NOT do is wait for MLB to come up with a global solution and guidance. There are too many interests involved and they will take forever to come to an agreement. And you can bet whatever they come up with won't necessarily be what is best for the Twins.

    Ditch Balley's once and for all. Have MLB produce the games. Offer the rights to local cable providers and also offer MLB.tv streaming to people who either don't have cable or live in an area where the provider doesn't have broadcast rights

    They needed to add a starter last winter. Everyone knew it. They did nothing. They needed to add a starter at the deadline. They did nothing.

    Who does he think he is; Crash Davis? I'm surprised it was the opposing coaches who spilled the beans. You would think the umpire would say something.

    Two AAA teams going at it. I don't know why anyone would expect a different result.

    They play baseball for a living. About 3 hours a day, most of that time they are sitting or standing around. Try working on an assembly line for 8+ hours a day and find out if they can get that "second wind".

    It's more than a little frustrating when the two guys drawing the biggest paychecks on the team only play for about half the games each season.

    Rocco will get most of the blame for this one, and he should definitely get a big share, but there's plenty of blame to go around. The bullpen choked.... again, and the lineup decided to take another night off. Five hits is usually not going to win many games. This has been such a frustrating season.

    Granted, Okert has not been good and should be on the bubble, but why DFA a guy who has been on the team all season when Richards has been just as bad and has only been with the team for a month?

    I have no complaints about the bullpen usage. A 2-1 game you gotta go with your horses. If it wasn't for the error all would be well.

    An ugly loss. They left the door open and the Cardinals walked through it. Really sucks. And Atlanta coming to town.

    I can see him being added to the 40-man after the season ends. Presumably Kepler and Margot won't be back, which would create an opportunity for an outfielder.

    They really needed a starter, and with Stewart's status up in the air they also needed an impact reliever. They got neither. Prices were high. I get it. However, the front office has known they needed a starter since Sonny Gray left and have had plenty of time to figure out a solution.

    If this trade had happened in January it would have been buried in the TD forums and explained as bringing in some competition for a roster spot.

    Who does he replace? Festa? I'm not sure he's better than anyone they currently have in the bullpen.

    They really need Correa, Lewis, and Miranda back. The current lineup is not gonna scare anyone.

    Good article, but I wouldn't do that deal. That's actually less than what the Twins got for Polanco, and I value Julien way more than Polanco because of his affordable team control.
