    I am a fan of Garlick but I prefer Kepler's glove in Right Field; there has to be some thing truly wrong with him with his drop in batting, but then Donaldson had a similar drop for the Yankees.?

    IF, if the Twins win the first game they will win both. They beat them 8-1 once this year, and I still see Cruz hopping down the baseline in one of the Twins few bright spots last year.

    Sanchez is better than Jeffer was, on defense, similar with a bat. Celestino's bat has been on a steady downhill trend.

    Minnesota should be able to win two out of three against Boston.

    If you prevent runs, you do not need as many to win, trying to over come failed defense with more runs is a losing proposition. As Bud Grand said in 1969, offense draws crowds, defense wins games.

    He is a better outfielder than any of the replacements now being used, with speed, he and Kepler together would make hits to Center and Left payoff far less. With Twins current pitching, outfield defense is a HIGH priority.

    If he can keep Gordon out of Center Field, start him., with that arm , see how he does in Left Field.

    The Yankees are not in the same level of play as Houston or Los Angeles Dodgers right now, they can and have been beaten by teams tech. lessor than the Twins, BUT, Baldelli has get his players over the psychological pit they have been in against the Yankeed since the days of Gardenhire.

    Simmons was just as good, a bit better fielding the hard plays, but Correa's bat is much better.

    After watching that video he has a better arm than any one except maybe Kepler. Get him up here, soon.

    Back when I used to go to Duluth often, there was a East-West street I drove often and thought I would not want to try to go from a stop on that street, in winter, without a clutch to control wheel spin.

    Some how that is a fitting way for this Twins team to win. The Twins did to a California team what the Oakland A's did to the Twins, winning without a hit.

    Miranda is too slow for an infield single, although Big Sexy Colon did hit a home run, and got on base-on-balls in his career.
