  1. In Calvin's days, he would be history.
  2. No reason to keep him either. Until this year, the Saints , over the past few years, had a goodly number of players who Had played in the majors, trade him for one of those. Maybe with Toronto.
  3. That is an opinion, noting more. Next spring FO will determine who goes and who stays, not fans opinions.
  4. I have an odd feeling , once the Twins Postseason chance is kaput, they will win games by a large margin.
  5. Second base will be open next spring for whom ever gets the nod. Julien is kaput, Lee is no better than Julien, Lewis WILL NOT leave Third Base he is a poor fielder there and Second is more challenging. Who is at Spring Training next year, is a total mystery , as is who wins 2nd Base.
  6. Hmmm, I had the game on the TV infront of me but was reading some thing else; I see they put Julien and Lee in to lower their BAs even farther.
  7. Lewis another 1 pitch out, the normal.
  8. Damn , Jeffers threw out a runner, holy moly.
  9. I want to see early runs where they keep the lead and do not give it away late in the game.
  10. He did not stink as badly as Julien or Lee and they are still here, get over it.
  11. It seems the gremlin that hit a lot of Twins really got to Margot.
  12. I said, Lewis should get the cure that greatly helped Wallner and then you went off on Gallo, whom Wallner is most like. Que sera, sera.
  13. Blaming Margot for Twins problems is getting to be boring and obtuse.
  14. Because Wallner's stats look like Gallo, simple as that. Gallo followed by Wallner
  15. With six games left, the Twins need every player on the field to perform , at mimimum, at their career average. Right now, most are below it and making their average lower.
  16. A lot of whishful thinking - he is hurt - excuses but what you see may be all you will get., at that, at the end of last year and the start of this year, Wallner absolutely stunk, but he went to AAA and improved. Now he may never be better than a young Joey Gallo but he improved. Such MAY be the road for Lewis,
  17. Until he can hit sliders, sweepers and cutters, nothing will change.
  18. LOL, Lee and Lewis are gaping holes in defense, let them walk.
  19. He has done a lot of nothing with runners in scoring position often; he was fortunate with having he bases loaded witht those home runs, NOT that he is a wonder with a bat. More like Buxton, good streaks and horrid slumps.
  20. The issue with the Twins is Lee and Lewis are lousy fielders. A team that fails at small ball, cannot afford poor fielding.
  21. Today it looks like any but Correa and Buxton would have been a good idea.
