    Pinch me , pinch me , pinch me ... The twins won a game by 1 run ... Got to give an assist to the 2nd base umpire for getting hit by a batted ball and saving the tying run from scoring , sure glad the umpires are not athletic ... SWR pitched effectively , but if I was SWR I would have hit Stowers ...

    And as one member posted today and i posted weeks ago , having an injury in the lower part of your body can jeopardize the risk of hurting the arm or shoulder by pitching differently ...

    SWR had a good inning to preserve the lead , low pitch count but really it does matter because Rocco is going to pull him around 50 pitches regardless if he's cruising ...

    I agree we need someone to step forward a take a hold of the position for maybe the rest of the season after deadline or for next year ... If Cardenas is good defensively any hitting is a plus , if he can play defense at the mlb level , I'd like to see what we got ... The twins aren't going anywhere with the players they have so it won't hurt ... If the FO doesn't believe in him , a solid catcher ready to play in mlb needs to be acquired at deadline ... It's a priority to see how serious our FO really is in improving their team ( I'd say our team but we know that is not the case ) ...

    Front office personal sit in their chairs after the skubal gem , we can't get any worse than this ... Twins go to Miami and proves they can be worse then the Detroit series ... Ryan pitched a good game for not , lewis doubles for not , willi steals second base for not ... The hitting is unacceptable , two shutouts in arow is unacceptable ... Some people say it's not the managers fault , he has to accept some accountability for the failures of this team ( players and coaches all have to follow FO and Rocco's lead ) ... If the news is true that Rocco has been retained for 2026 is unacceptable ...

    I'm more worried about wallner , he needs to hit to really be of any value , Vazquez is our defensive catcher , Lewis should at least be average , he was showing signs of good at bats before the re-injury ..

    I see our hitters didn't get any momentum going , playing in Detroit ... Miami actually beat some good teams during there 7 game streak , they aren't playing a good team tonight ...

    It wasn't a massacre but it wasn't a good outcome by our hitters , the game was as expected , skubal pitched a gem ... Our hitters looked foolish and helped skubal out on some bad choices to swing on pitches they couldn't handle , paddack did okay , alot better than his previous 2 starts ... Detroit is a talented team , playing well with young and old players , they rose to a good team last year and made a wild card appearance , added some off season help and has risen to the top of the central easily enough ... We are exactly who we are , good pitching but terrible offense and days where defense doesn't show up ... We are the Minnesota possums , WE PLAY DEAD AT HOME AND GET KILLED ON THE ROAD ... I watch Kirby pitch last night for Seattle, he threw everything on the outside edge of the plate , everything because the Royals made no adjustments to hit the ball to the opposite field , the Royals only managed 3 hits against Kirby , the point is you have to make adjustments to how the pitcher is pitching , where has the learning curve gone for hitting to the opposite field ...

    I am not against trading Duran , but Dalton hasn't proved anything at the mlb level yet , yes he's proven he belongs in the mlb with minor league results ... If we were to trade Duran and Vazquez for dalton rushing I think that is a over pay for us even as we desperately need a catcher I think we could and should get more value for Duran ... Deadline approaching , teams want to strengthen their bullpen for the post season and tend to over pay , last year's elite relievers traded the teams got good return back ... As most teams go for pitchers at the deadline, the twins should be sellers to acquire good hitters with speed and play defense and a catcher , We have tradeable assets , looks like acala was an asset or could have been if used properly , acala finally gave up his first run in a Boston uniform , but it was by his and the defense doing , I think that was acalas 5th or 6th outing for Boston , better check him for steroids 😅 ...
