    A double jeopardy loss in a way , twins lose and fail to gain a game on Cleveland , who also lost ... Acala a melt down and Rocco leaving him in allowing 5 runs is just plain insane , when a pitcher doesn't have it , you can pull him after 3 batters , but Rocco seems to not want to bring in a relief pitcher in with runners on , he always seems to want a reliever to start a fresh inning ... Crazy ... Why did he ( Rocco ) pinch hit for larnach with Vazquez ???? ... Do we have a major league manager with the right mind set that wants to win every game like I do ??? ...

    Suspenseful all the way to the end .... Twins win the opener and sets the tone for the series ... Let's go twins , you beat up on texas last year , let do it again ... Not the prettiest win but a much needed one for the race to the division ... Did I say go twins yet ...

    3rd base is Lewis , with some work he can transition himself to a gold glove 3rd basemen and I'm sure he desires to be a gold glover , give him time and give him health and he will succeed .. Koskie and gaetti were way worse than Lewis to begin their twins career and with work turned out to be exceptional third basemen ....

    I was on the road listening on the radio , after the game I thought man we seem to lose alot of Wednesday games ... I looked it up when I got home , twins are 11 and 9 on Wednesday ... Just Seemed like the opposite to me , I guess I listen to to many games to keep it straight when I'm on the road ... I to was hoping for a Lewis grand slam , I'm sure he was too ...

    Rich hill has a history of injuries , a long list ... I'd rather have Jamie moyer ... Baseball was very exciting last night with Matthew's pitching , win or lose I think it can be exciting the rest of the way with our future , we now have Morris in AAA as depth

    From start to finish it was a good game ,,, The hitters hit to insure a win for the rookie making his debut ... I don't think I have been this excited about a rookie making his debut since Eddie Bane did for the twins back in 1973 ...

    4 up 4 down , then a solo homer , then 2 up and 2 down ... I'd say he recovered and not a bad start for the rookie , keep it low and get those grounders ...

    Cubby was a decent player , him and smalley maned the left side of the infield , though they weren't Blyleven they both gave the twins productive seasons ... rest in peace cubby ...

    Royce Lewis is clutch ... Get runners on base and Lewis will drive them in , always a difference maker ... Pablo re-set after 2nd inning , bullpen did a good job ... defense was good and showed it athleticism ... No solo homeruns , batters get a bloop or walk and then a blast , need more of these kind of Homer's ... Willi castro got it going , he is having a nice season after a slow start ...

    We got work to do , twins bats need to pick it up and make good contact ... Strikeouts are hard to take when game is important , i dont care what Rocco says all the games are important from now on , its called a pennant race ...

    Larnach is having a better season at the plate , is it because he is seeing better pitches batting in front of Lewis , Buxton , wallner and Miranda , could be the case ... Was a good laugh when I read that rocco's specialty is making the opposing manager sweat , the only people that sweat are the fans , ( example ) Margot o'fer pinch hitting ...

    It's baby steps for preilipp ... Have you any insight on canterino , it's been a year now since surgery , still having setbacks ? , is he throwing at all ??? Haven't heard or read anything on him this year , but I was gone most of the first 4 months ...

    Nobody has posted about the ceremony for Ryan and stelmaszek into twins hall of fame expect the OP ... It was a full house of respectful past players , managers and other teams GM's ... Ryan and stelmaszek were both class acts to the twins organization ... Ryan tried his best to bring a championship to Minnesota by working hard , evaluating prospects and drafting , working under a limited payroll ( he was not a total system failure ) , sure he made some mistakes but he had my respect as he was always straightforward to the fans ... Stelmaszek , the players all loved him ... Welcome to the twins hall of fame terry and Rick ...
