    Luis, get well soon. We got time. Glad we got the home run record. I don't know why. I'm just glad. This team kind of deserves it. If they loosen the strings on the ball next year, who knows, the record may stick for a couple years.I am hoping it is a good omen for beating the Yanks in round 1

Man, if I am a catcher I am not blocking the plate when that guy has a head of steam up All those who said, cut him, trade him, he is done.... please make your apologies as public as your criticism was. Crow is on the menu for you. I am really happy for Miggie. He has found his stroke.

    I agree. You know, I remember in the off season when many were crying about the Twins not having high OBP guys as table setters. Well here is one and he has done it for half a season. So what do people do? Criticize his fielding/range/arm and say he is not that great. Are Minnesota fans the only ones that are this negative? No. Philly fans once booed Santa.

    Well, look, over half a year Polanco hit like this and he was the starting All Star SS. I think a half year is long enough sample size to project that the kid can be a .300 hitter. There aren't too many of those. I am all in on Luis

    Nobody mentioned this, so I will. The Damn Yankees movie, was about the player for the Washington Senators, now the Minnesota Twins, selling his soul to the Devil, in order to beat the Yankees just one year. The Yankees play in a little league park. Screw em. If Rosario or Kepler played there, they's average 50 homers a year.

    I've never seen Bruce Wayne and Batman in a room together. So when have you ever seen Marwin and Gonzalez together? Is there a bat cave under Target Field? Someone put Nelson on this story after he gets back from his Honeymoon.

    I don't understand how bystanders and spectators can look at a team that has been surprisingly strong all season, setting offensive records and mashing homers at a record clip and conclude that the manager is making a bad decision in resting players sometimes. The results show good management. In fact, one could say that the Twins have never had this kind of offensive production before. I give Rocco a lot of credit for this. You need a good bench over the course of a 162 game season. Bench players need to get played if they are going to be sharp enough to help off the bench. Not resting starters guarantees that they will wear down over the 162 game season and that reserves will be stale when called upon. Rocco is right and his managing of his players is not the reason for the recent spate of injuries. I suspect had Rocco not been pro active in resting guys things would be a lot worse than they are.

    Yeah soon as I stand up for him he looks at strike 3 in the ninth with men on. Why do I bother?

    Molitor refused to play Ryan who hit .485 in ST and was red hot. Molly just refused to use him, until he cooled off. Then once cooled off, he didn't play as well, so Molly could justify cutting him loose. Robbie is a different story. Molly liked him. And he was so so for months while the Twins carried him. Glad Robbie caught on in Oakland, but comparing Robbie's treatment to Ryan's isn't fair

    You forget. He was red hot and Molly refused to use him until, after sitting with a hot streak and .485 BA coming out of ST, he cooled off while sitting the bench. Molitor ruined the guys chances.
