  1. Sending the house on that play....huge mistake. 3rd and long B-Flo.
  2. I don't have a problem with the 4th and 2. It wouldn't have looked so bad if Wentz hadn't thrown underneath and then taking a sack.
  3. That sack was a killer, like Olsen said....just heave it into the crowd.
  4. Now you have to kick.
  5. Woof, that third and 13 really hurt.
  6. You have to take the points, it's a field goal game now.
  7. Helluva play by Redmond right there. Potential game changer.
  8. This has been a well called game by KOC. His QB has been awful.
  9. Absolutely, but then the punchline is on the actual people and their reaction to the sign. This punchline appeared to be "Har Har...there's still racism". The only takeaway is that it mocks people who don't like racism? I think? Maybe we're just splitting hairs on a wildly ineffective delivery of the joke though.
  10. Who'd have thought a joke with a punchline of "Hey guys - racism is still around!" didn't work......
  11. IMO.....the Keenum run was just luck that fizzled as decisively as it deserved. Much like last year. It's fun to have those years, lucky or not. But I'd actually like to be there again for reasons other than luck. McCarthy is the only path to that in the next few years on the roster.
  12. Yeah, would've been nice to have both leagues put out a good series....but the Dodgers are just a payroll juggernaut. I don't anticipate the World Series being much better unless the RNG gods of baseball playoffs decide to get involved.
  13. As mentioned, Prielepp for sure. I think we may see another starter move that direction as well. I think it's worth pointing out that the Twins have had pretty good luck developing at least competent (to good) bullpen arms out of failed/transitioned starters. It's just a lot to ask in one season. But they gotta take their licks and prepare sometime.
  14. I can sympathize with that stance. I'd rather develop the kid. Partly because at least part of the work they did (Allen and Hargrave) haven't brought the impact I expected. Not to mention the offensive line devastation. I've just been on this carousel of "Our QB isn't good enough, isn't young, and isn't the guy" long enough to try something else I guess.
  15. Yeah, 100% great points.
  16. Trading for a long-term answer at 1B seems like priority number one this offseason. Even more than bullpen for me.
  17. What's weird is that they've done some things right in terms of trying to help a young QB. They've tried to have a stable offensive line in place, a good defense at times, veteran playmakers. But yeah...something is just broken there. (Either they are misfiring on guys like Skoronski, Latham, Calvin Ridley, Trey Burks....or they're just bad at coaching them)
  18. Baker Mayfield is something else.
  19. This might be the worst collection of 6 quarterbacks playing since the 80s. (All due respect to Baker and sorta Love, but the other four.....woof)
  20. My biggest thing with him was the culture change. He's so good, but the attitude and physicality is going to totally change the way the Giants play football. We could use a dose of that.
  21. Barkley is getting terrible blocking but he looks like he Wile E. Coyote'd himself off the age cliff.
  22. Anyone still want to fight me that Cam Skattebo is a freaking stud?
  23. That's a good point. There is no sugar-coating that the Falcons game was a bad loss. However, there are quite a few teams with bad losses already. The Packers have one to the Browns and a tie with the Cowboys. (Just as one example) If the Vikings can take this next stretch that looked like 1-3 a few months ago and go 2-2....then we're back on track as a potential wild card team.
  24. If you didn't see it happen with your eyes, you wouldn't believe the boxscore. I personally have never seen anything like it.
  25. John seems to have done a lot of unnecessary typing after "C"...... (And I might argue he could've stopped at D!)
