  1. How in the world can ANYONE know this team will be worse in 2022? With all the prospects in the pipeline, young guys showing promise this season, and the money they will have to spend in the offseason, I wouldn't assume ANYTHING. Not directing this at you RpR, but anyone who is making assumptions about 2022 in late July 2021.
  2. I think the FO is doing a really good job of filling the system with prospects. If they can get more for Maeda, Pineda, or if someone sells the farm for Buxton(and I mean SELLS THE FARM) go for it. Screw the 2021 season, I could care less if they win another game at this point. Ohh, and they will have plenty of money to spend in the offseason on FA's.
  3. This team, as constructed, will never win anything(horrible defense and pitching). I too, like to watch baseball, so while 2019 was amazing, 2020 didn't really do anything for me. Twins started 10-2, finished 26-24(including playoffs). So, I can see where this thing is headed if the organization sits on it's hands hoping for a 2019 miracle again. And sometimes you have to take a few steps back to move forward again. I see hope in many of the young positional players, and since we aren't the Dodgers, we can't just spend our way out of this mess. We need arms in the minor leagues and supplement them with LEGITIMATE Free agents. I still watch the 2021 Twins, but only to see the young guys, no other reason. This team is bad, so I have no expectations, nor do I get much excitement from seeing them win.
  4. Schoop is a good player, but he isn't going to move the dial over Arraez. This team would still suck.
  5. You mean the team that has the most errors in MLB this season, the Minnesota Twins? This team sucks as is, and while there are some veteran pieces I would like to see stay, I'm OK with some level of rebuild. We are losing now, so I could care less if this team doesn't win another game in 2021.
  6. Ohh, you mean the Cruz who also has 3 ab's tonight with 2k's. Yes I miss him, but if you are using 3 ab's, well...
  7. as long as there is a shock collar
  8. Yeah, Happ can just go away forever, as can the remainder of the 2021 season
  9. On paper, it wasn't a bad trade, by any means. They are not ranked because they are no longer in the Rays system. "Up to 10 and 11 in the mid season update..... " So they were easily in the top 30.
  10. Well if that's the case there are a number of vets who should have been sent down this season as well.
  11. That will NEVER happen with this pitching staff
  12. We are losing now, and even if they return, I expect this team to lose next year too unless the entire pitching staff is gutted and the FO is able to rebuild it completely in ONE offseason. That will cost alot of money. If this team is bad again next year it just pushes the entire process back another season. This is going to happen one way or another in the next 1.5 years, so do it now. If the FO tries to patch this thing together the same way they have in the past and it fails again...you will have one pissed off fan base. Ohh, and the team defense needs an overhaul too.
  13. Just a terrible team, about had it with Pineda too. His performance has really fallen off, hopefully is just the injury
  14. Jesus this bullpen...they have thrown 45 pitches to get ONE OUT.
  15. I would tell the team to enjoy drowning in their failures.
  16. Don't forget about those "loaded" Hostess pies!
  17. It only took Robles 20 pitches to get no outs, and walk a batter...LOL And how about that vaunted infield defense.
  18. If we had played more of a balanced schedule last season, I don't believe the results would have been so good.
