  1. Fla up now 3-2. Gave up 2 shorthanded goals tonight.
  2. If the FO were actually doing this. Is there a possibility that if one said the wrong thing, that they could now be placed on double secret probation? Something to ponder.
  3. Just reading. Judge over his last 40 games. .387 avg. .503obp .937 slu% 1.439 ops
  4. OK. You caught me. The gig is up. Do I have to quit my job now? They really don't pay much. Payroll isn't the only part of the organization affected don't you know.. I can't even afford Blizzards after work.
  5. Haha. Hahaha. Stop already. 🛑 Make the trade. But keep Kiriloff. Send Trevor instead.
  6. Really. You asked a question and you come up with a bunch of bs excuses why Judge is doing so well. For the past 5 years. Not 80 games. How about giving credit where credit is due. I acknowledged that Lewis start to his career is up there with some all time greats. You're just making stuff up in regards to other players. And even if I were a Yankees fan. What's that got to do with anything. According to you, if Lewis were a Yankee he could hit 80 homers because of umpire favoritism and that little band box they play in. Plus the fact that he's just better than Judge. I enjoy watching excellence. No matter who it is. Your opinion has NO facts to back it up. Fan Boy
  7. Before the Giants and the Mets offers came in the Twins were interested in resigning Correa. Their offer was just what he signed for. The Twins offer was always the highest per year avg. They just weren't willing to give the years. He could have taken that initially if he really WANTED to be here. There is no disconnect. Correa and Boras were the spin masters after the fact with that bs that this is where he wanted to be all along. There were no other options
  8. Spin masters. When those 2 words are spoken I always think of Falvey and Levine.
  9. Really? If the Oakland A's offered 300 million for 10 years. Where would Correa be right now?
  10. If the Mets or Giants had made the offer that Correa eventually signed for. Boras and Correa would have declined it. 100 million is a lot of money. They were looking for Turner/Seager/Lindor type money. Minnesota was out. This is NOT where Correa wanted to be. Does this article just happen to coincide with his recent 10 game hot streak? Yeah I'm sure it does. Next year if he's plodding along to the tune of .230 there will be an article asking if the Correa contract was an overpay. Twins are in great shape. They have God at 3rd and the Best SS in the history of baseball.
  11. Thanks for that. I remember reading that. I find it amusing that some think a player has influence over the FO decision making. In the NBA. Yes. This isn't the NBA thankfully.
  12. And just to add to that question. Your earlier post claimed he was the Best Player in all of MLB. It wasn't the hypothetical 2 outs bottom of the 9th tie game scenario that every 10 year old plays.
  13. AARON JUDGE! 20 homers last 38 games. Lewis 7 homers last 12 games. It's a very similar arc. And Judge Does it year after year. I'm not saying Lewis can't be that guy. But let him do it for several years. Not just 80 games.
  14. I remember in the late 60s early 70s there was a photo that read Clapton is God. I expect at some point this week a Twins fan will have one that reads Lewis is.
  15. He has made several really good/great catches. He's also bungled several more. It's consistency. Can he do it for the long haul? He saved a run and gave it right back. I'm not sold. Personally I think he should have been swapped with Castro defensively. He can improve. It's his arm. Well below average.
  16. In truth. If Lewis doesn't get hurt in game 1. Do we see Miranda? I'm glad he's here. But in what scenario does he get the chance outside of that injury?
  17. I don't know if there's a rule but I don't think a coach would be employed very long if he comes out of the dugout. That's the managers job.
  18. Technically it was both. He got ejected on the checked swing. But he blew a head gasket on the strike zone He wasn't the manager.
