Joe Ryan. Does he play the King part of the 7 man
  2. Schmoeman5
How so. Did the pitchers suddenly stop doing what he worked on with them, or did the pitchers just forget?
  3. Schmoeman5
If they're so good as you say, then they would. Just play like the old King and his Court team. Play 7 guys. That's all they need
  4. Schmoeman5
So then... They only have 3 good players
  5. Schmoeman5
    I'll second that!
  6. Schmoeman5
From the choir. And the blind Squirrel analogy works well too
  7. Schmoeman5
He was correct in that assessment. But that's why we love baseball. You always get another chance
  8. Schmoeman5
    Miranda comes through. Yay
  9. Schmoeman5
    It's called trust, and proven
  10. Schmoeman5
Ahh. Thanks. I thought they started back on Friday
  11. Schmoeman5
He absolutely should not go. Especially if he's that banged up. A 4 day respite will definitely not hurt
  12. Schmoeman5
Followed by 2 terrible ABs from Gordon and Sano
  13. Schmoeman5
Nice AB for Kiriloff. More please
  14. Schmoeman5
Looked like Buxton on that catch. Nice play

You put way too much stock in the BRAND NAMES. I've watched a lot of AL east games. They're on mlb network nearly every night. The Jay's and Rays and red Sox don't strike fear in the rest of the league as they appear to do to you. If the Twins were in the AL east they'd be battling for a wild card
  16. Schmoeman5
All the other teams you've mentioned besides the Yankees and Astros which I CLEARLY stated are the top teams. All the others have issues and holes just like the Twins. None of those teams are clearly better than the Twins at this point.

9th or 10th in the AL is sort of a stretch I'd say. There's 2 dominant teams in the AL. Houston and the Yankees. You could easily say the Twins are the 3rd best team in the league. You can argue that if you will but they're closer to 3rd than 9 or 10
  18. Schmoeman5
    Got it. Thank you
  19. Schmoeman5
What exactly is Buxtons streak and is it supposed to be a record or something?
  20. Schmoeman5
And their fan base of 40 strong are there to let you know.
  21. Schmoeman5
No Buxton at the all star game. Let him have these 4 full days off and rest the knees and whatever else ails him.
  22. Schmoeman5
It's a skill if your name is Willie Mays Hayes or if you play on turf. See 85 Cardinals
  23. Schmoeman5
WAR! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.
  24. Schmoeman5
Fun fact. 5 Twins wives are pregnant presently. A mass baby shower was held. Maybe that's the problem.
  25. Schmoeman5
I was thinking the exact same thing. Haha
