    Same could be said for Gasper but Rocco keeps him because he is a third catcher. Gasper wouldn't get claimed if Twins designated him. He's 29, a career minor league player, and can't hit MLB pitching. Rocco's pet. I think Funderburk could actually develop into a usable piece.

    He's left handed, and can throw some heat so someone will give him a chance if Twins give up on him.

    A guy like Tonkin they should really DFA. At his age he probably wants a chance to play on a playoff team, not closing for 4th place Twins team.

    Exactly, a manager worth anything would see that Gasper and Kiersey jr. are not championship level talent beyond AAA.

    Kietsry, Gasper and Baldelli being here all reasons Falvey should be gone. Culture would change and whole team would exhale if Baldelli removed from equation.

    Provus even said he is surprised Martin not playing. Hawkins even said he is bummed. Rocco shouldn't be here, he is a boob.

    Yeah and how many have we seen with Rocco this year? When you do this kind of tear down you don't leave the manager in charge.

    Remember that "This is how we baseball". Not being able to score a leadoff triple sums up Baldelli ball and his crap line-ups. I know it is hard to make soup out of S but these line-ups all season have been doing this. Twins have zero clutch players.

    More evidence Baldelli isn't the guy to be leading re-build. My guess it is punishment for not seeing coaches on wanting him to move in from left field spot.

    Is there any truth that Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau and a lead investor named Ray of an Insurance company , or Martty Davis if Cambria are trying to buy the Twins. 1.7 billion gonna need a fairly large group of investors for that price plus assumption of debt. Would be happy to see this franchise in the hands of so e former players and a hometown owner. Would be nice to have hometown owners interested in keeping team here. I hope we sell out the place Target Firld on the day a new owner is announced for Twins. There are baseball fan's here, Just need a reason to get behind this franchise.

    It waa hard as a Twins fan that has purchased merchandise at the stadium of players that were jetisoned, buys 15 to 20 games a year and plenty of concessions, to feel any empathy for the Pohlads. They tore the team down and got rid of players they did not need to, it seems just to punish fan's for being disappointed in their stewardship and ownership of Twins. One things is certain, the relationship between fans and these owners is damaged to point of not being repairable. it is tough to see things deteriorate to the debacle that happened Thursday. I think many of us have traveled to Milwaukee and cannot believe how different the atmosphere over there is compared to what we have. I can only compare it to being like a White Sox experience now. Falvey's email was meaningless drivel.

    Moderators, can we please get a count down clock to Twins sales announcement from Pohlads to new owners. That is like one of the few things we have left to look forward to this season.

    One of the biggest indictments of this franchise is Rocco Baldelli's insistence on having Gasper on the roster as a third catcher. He is only here because Rocco want's him around. Done nothing on MLB roster to justify being here. A, I mean how often do you need a 3rd catcher and B. If we fans can see Gasper doesn't belong with the Twins why can't Rocco. I don't give a c -rap about clubhouse guy I want to see talent and competitive, capable guys playing.. Gasper couldn't play for the Savanah Bananas. He didn't belong to start the year and he hasn't earned it this time around either.
