  1. There is a reason the Amgels only have given Suzuki a one year contract. That was not a good hire by the Angels.
  2. It would be nice if Twins would make some changes to the roster on some under-performing guys like Wallner and Clemens either being demoted or DFA. Outman really doesn't have much of of role, when your not winning games you don't have luxury of carrying a pinch runner with a record of 5 and 17 your last 22 games. Would be nice to see some of the failing bullpen guys like Garcia and Banda moved on down the road too. I'm not ready to give up on Lewis or Lee yet. Keaschall needs to clean up his defense and focus. Working hard on being the worst team in baseball. To me Lewis, Lee and Martin get sat, for any mistakes but other guys like Clemens can take a really bad 1 pitch at bat and he get's a free pass from Twins management. Frankly Clemens has be a lousy player with a lot of opportunity late last season and now this. He isn't above average in anything, hitting, defense or speed.
  3. Clemens and Wallner have had so many rbi opportunity's this season and both are not hitting a lick. Not sure why Clemens has so much equity, poor contact hitter, strikes out a lot and he isn't a great defender. Been a Twins less than a year and he is old. Wallner looks lost and has been force fed opportunity for 3 seasons now without really improving much. Stubbornness of keeping these two on roster by Twins is baffling to me. Neither of these two guys will help Twins turn the corner or get better. Neither Wallner or Clemens is going to be a solution to improving the Twins. But keep giving them opportunity's they are not earning.
  4. I would give Gonzalez a shot at first base. Most teams would instead of limping a long with Clemmens and Caratini but the Twins will continue this charade. Not sure why Clemmens has so much equity with Twins organization, he is older, a lousy, limited streaky hitter and just not that good a defender. A lot of Royce Lewis hate, and he has bern struggling, but he isn't making all the defensive errors that Keaschall and Lee are, and Clemmens has had almost many at bats with worse results. Wallner had been given way more chances to prove that he can turn the corner and he still cannot hit a lick besides meaningless home runs when team is getting pasted. Wallner needs a change of scenery and the Twins need to find out what they have in the Saints outfielders before they all become stale. Wallner shelf life is expiring before us. RBI situations always find Wallner and he continues to be a bust.
  5. We need some changes on the Twins. This losing stretch with same dudes over and over again is getting old.
  6. Why is Matt Wallner still on the Twins roster? He is such a bust as hitter.
  7. Cleveland has no problem bringing up promising g young players, unlike the Twins. Another stellar display of defense by the Twins.
  8. Hell both Keaschall and Wallner need to be demoted after that dropped ball. I know two walks and hit batters, but this defense blows. Poorly designed ball club.
  9. What a terrible pitch hitting Lyle. Wow is Banda wild with his flying open today. Twins bullpen ERA is 5.83 second worst in baseball. Who could have seen this coming. Luke Keaschall needs to be demoted.
  10. Yuck, Banda walks a lot of left handed hitters. He makes his own messes not pitching close enough to strike zone.
  11. Throws hanging split fingers too often, SIM does. Nationals used the sacrifice effectively. We have seen the Twins have crappy base running for 3 consecutive years. Doesn't seem to matter who base coaches are.
  12. I like Martin at leadoff, Lee in the 2 and would like to see Buck bat 3rd.
  13. That was clearly a bad send of Clemmens by third base coach off Gray's shallow pop up. Clemmens isn't exactly speedy.
  14. Not a good at bat by Keaschall. I know Royce is struggling and getting sat, but it is not Like Keaschall or Clemmens are doing any better. Both those guys are really struggling at rhe plate too.
  15. Good defense. But Sim-Richardson starting to get rocked. He seems like a 1 to 2 inning pitcher, ,bullpen candidate .
  16. At least he isn't 39 years old like Garcia. The Mets saw that he was washed up and no longer effective. Guess the Twins had to squeeze the rag some more to seecany juice left. Those home run balls he gave up tonight still have not landed.
  17. Honestly, I would rather pick up Paddock and try him as a reliever than continue the Luis Garcia person on this team. How do you not, grant him his release while he is walking off the mound. I don't care if he throws 95, middle in eith no movement and not trying the outside corner is crazy. At least we kinda know Paddock has a decent curve and slider.
