    Meat. Perfect mistake to crush. Damn. It's only a mistake if you hit it. Swing at the ones a foot outside and low, and watch the meat. Jax-Lopez-Duran for the blown save and loss. To KC. This was a tough one. Polanco's gaff looms big now. Tough tough game to lose. We should have scored 5-6 runs too.

    Duran's fastballs have some low spin comparitively. The batters sure do touch a lot of them.

    Yes, I'm watching. Sorry I got the runner wrong. I saw the infield in too, but they love to sacrifice a run for an out way too often. An out is not worth a run. Even in the first inning.

    Do they just let Massey score uncontested on an infield grounder now and go make the out more important than the run scored again? I hope not.

    Be nice to have a clean inning from Jax for a change. No Drama. No fielding gaffs. 1-2-3.

    Buxton at least ran the whole way until a signal. I mean, why not? What else have they got to do?

    Kiss of death to have Correa batting with the bases loaded. Kepler wasn't thinking. He should have argued and said it never hit him. At least we would have had a better chance of scoring. I guess the scorer can't give Correa a freebee on this one.

    Looks like the home official scorer is feeling sorry for Correa and his offensive ineptness. Has changed Massey's error to a hit and brought Correa just above the Mendoza line from .191.

    Kepler is hitting now. Gallo is hitting. Larnach has an option. Gordon doesn't. Solano doesn't. Where does he play? It might take an injury, for a IL replacement, and he keeps playing 2 days on and 1 off as they build up his wrist. Kirilloff has an option so he can move up and down. I think they would want him to play a lot, wrist watching, where ever he is playing

    Thankful for the bats today! Scoring 8 runs can win a lot of games. Royals even out hit us 12-8. Lopez contract drunk. Since the signing only 4 games into the season, 2 starts, 10 innings, 11 earned runs (9.90 ERA albeit Jax let in 2 inherited runners of which one was on Lopez and one on Jax and his wild pitch) on 16 hits with 3 BBs and 2 hit batters with only one solo homer given up - all for the home fans. Yuk. Lucky to be 1-1 instead of 0-2 for these 2 starts. ERA now at 4.00, right about his career average of 3.94. Vazquez sure loves to call the off speed/breaking stuff. Sometimes 12 in a row.....

    A bad ump means the catcher is stealing pitches! Right. That is how horrible that whole framing stat crap is. Based on a bad umpire.
