    A great decade would include more than one series win, 11 years ago, and more than a 0-12 current playoff record. But if you set the bar at winning the central when it sucks I guess it was great.

    One question for the loyalists here, how long does this continue before major changes should be made? (Moving Smith to a different office and changing some minor coaches doesn’t count).

    We are now 20 years into the Ryan/Smith era and 12 years with gardy and we have one playoff series win and working on a 174-255 record the last 3 yrs. Maybe just maybe it's time for some new blood.

    Well Gardy gets a free pass because he doen't have decent players to work with so I guess that would cover Bruno as well. After 195 loses in 2 years they decided that the base coaches and bullpen coach were to blame. After this year of likely 90 + losses a few members of the ground crew may need to go. Not a lot of accountibility in the Twins way.

    Not when Kershaw is the PTBNL. Just holding off until they can find a place in our rotation for him.

    Kennedy went for a few mid prospects, seems cheap but he is having a poor yr not bad for our rotation, however. Seems like a guy terry could have had if he thought we need pitching, guess that thought is still up in the air.
