    A prep guy is all about projection, right? So is anyone else suspicious of the fact that he's gotten professional instruction from his father all the way through his childhood? Is he peaking early? Is he what he is (and will remain) already? Would he take instruction from someone else? I'm admittedly no expert, but I'm really put off by this one.

    100% true. I did a similar (same? was your guide Reggie?) thing just south of New Orleans. Coolest part wasn't even the fact that a bunch of gators came out to chomp down on marshmallows, it was driving to the bayou docks, coming around a bend on a dirt road, and seeing a bald eagle standing in the road eating its prey. Those things are huge! The gators were cool too.

    1. I buy it. Assuming you know better than the pitcher and the organization what's going on with Gibson's shoulder is arrogant as hell. 2. Why on earth wouldn't crappy performances and shoulder strains be correlated? That makes perfect sense. 3. Do we really need to find things to complain about when our top pitching prospect has been promoted? Can we not just enjoy the show?
