  1. Nice job, Twins! Now, do we have enough bullpen to hang on with just a five run lead?
  2. I'm watching in English, but I'm also watching from Medellin, Colombia, so Spanish is at the top of my mind right now. I'm trying to be helpful, but if I'm just being annoying, feel free to tell me to shut up. I'm just some guy on the internet. I don't have feelings.
  3. A lomita is a little hill. Makes sense that that would be "mound."
  4. Santana wildness doesn't bode well for the rest of this inning.
  5. Reload your browser window during a commercial. You'll catch up, and as a bonus you'll miss a bunch of commercials.
  6. Dude's gotta start wearing some padding for when he lays out in center field, which will apparently happen several times a game.
  7. Dozier standing next to Sano looks like a cornerback standing next to a defensive end.

  9. I went to a baseball game in Panama a few weeks ago, and it was very educational. An outfielder is a "gardener," a shortstop is a "field cutter," a walk is colloquially a "ticket" to first base. A home run is a "jonron." Thats a good one.
  10. This Alex Gordon guy is good at left field.
  11. Our long, national nightmare is over. Baseball is back.
  12. I expect it to be completed within 24 hours.
  13. Sure, singly. But a whole bullpen full of them? Here's hoping for some short leashes and some continued success for the upside guys in the minors.
  14. Not to speak for OP, but surely there's a sample size problem? 0-1 stolen bases wouldn't indicate anything more than 1-1 would. He didn't try enough. Was that because he isn't fast enough, or did he have few opportunities, or were the coaches just focusing on different parts of his game? We have no idea. The stats simply don't and can't help in this case. And I say this as (apparently) the person most skeptical of Kiriloff in this thread.
