  1. The Twins got Gomez (top 50 rated prospect), Guerra (#35 rated prospect), Humber (#26 rated prospect) and Mulvey (not a highly rated prospect, but still a solid one at that) in return for Santana. Berrios+Polanco don't come anywhere close to that in current value.
  2. It's almost as if his previous franchise also didn't want to play him at SS, so at this point we have numerous professional baseball front office people who clearly think he can't handle playing SS along with the majority of fans, on the other side we have a small but vocal minority saying that Escobar is good defensively at SS. I wonder who is right?
  3. 75% of the SS in my beer league wood bat league would have gotten that one. Any average major league SS would have gotten it no problem and made a good throw to beat him out by 4 steps.
  4. The rotation would be led by Phil Hughes who is pitching like his 2014 season again lately, but good try to continue to mistrue the conversation around Gibson/Berrios and Tulo.
  5. How about who has more value the next 5 years, since that is how long each of them would essentially be under contract? Also Radke >>>>>>>>>> Gibson
  6. Preposterous statement of the year nomination. Tulo is a hall of fame SS, Gibson is a guy who is probably a #3 starter on a good team and a poor mans Brad Radke at best.
  7. Escobar has zero range and his bat is falling back to earth. He shouldn't be starting anywhere. Period.
  8. The problem Gibson will always have is he can't strike guys out and his stuff just isn't that good. Very good teams like the Angels will be able to take advantage more often then not. I like Gibson, but he projects more to be a average two or nice 3 then anything else.
  9. That's what happen when you give a team 7 outs
  10. The difference is Escobar has always been ****
  11. Rebuttal on his zero range? Instead of a double play he allows a game Clinching single and interferes with the runner to boot. I'm sure you can make up some stats to justify it though bud.
  12. Gibson is lucky he didnt give up 8 runs with that performance tonight.
  13. Brock's fiancé Escobar is crapping all over himself yet again at SS tonight, clearly the twins Are "set" at the position
  14. Escobar is so unbelievably terrible in the field.
