  1. I don't want to trade him yet. But they have Rosario who has LH pop, Hicks as well. Vargas?
  2. Yeah, I think maybe it just means there is little chance he doesn't hit FA, thus limiting the Twins chances of keeping him since they wouldn't be able to work anything out prior to him hitting free agency. Maybe all for the best, I have doubts he can stick at Catcher personally. Twins have enough 1B, DH etc spots currently and giving him 4-5 years could be a huge mistep for this team.
  3. Because if he could play SS he would have any of these last several years when we had no real internal options.
  4. I'd rather get AJ and Benoit since the price would be significantly lower and the results maybe close.
  5. CC seems to take offense to such actions, I would just avoid it, versus having that fat turd throw at Mauer or Sano's heads.
  6. How about they just stop bunting? They seem to be pretty inefficient across the board.
  7. Scotland is amazing, what part did you visit?
  8. I think Kazmir is awesome, but he is always a ticking time bomb, and one pitcher like him probably adds only 2 wins tops the rest of the year for them. The Twins, even as streaky as they have been, have been outplaying (winning) more than the Astros the past several weeks (month)
  9. Using tonight as a sample size I would say 480 is the more accurate number.
  10. I hate to say it, but maybe it would have been best if the Royals would have won? The Stro's are a wild card contender with us.
  11. Nice to see Rosario have a real nice game as well, seems like he was scuffling a bit lately, 3 doubles will certainly help turn things around.
  12. How many HR could one expect out of a 3-4-5 lineup next year of Sano, Dozier and Plouffe? 100?
  13. That's why I said "if" it wasn't 5/6-0.
  14. That wasn't really a bad pitch as much as it was a "good pitch".
  15. If it wasn't a 5-0 game you bring in the LOOGY Rourke there I suppose?
  16. Hopefully that jump starts Hunter, for better or worse he is likely our starting RF the rest of the year and hitting high in the order. Can't help but think maybe the day off helped him?
  17. Duensing has been the hottest hand as of late, but its a 5 run lead, I could see Boyer or Graham coming out for the 8th. Or May, actually.
  18. I feel like the Twins try to bunt for hits way to much, they have to be under .200 overall on those sorts of at bats so far this year.
  19. I'm sure is FIP isn't sexy as hell, but Hughes has been on point the past few months it seems, getting some real nice results which is all that matters.
  20. This is a fun game to watch, especially when subjected to the annoying YES (Yankees) broadcast team.
  21. I still would prefer that the Twins first address the bp issue by bringing in a good ML proven shut down 8th inning arm. Papelbon, Clippard, K-Rod all would easily fit this bill, and if the price is to high, you have a really solid backup option in Benoit. Once that is established I am all for bringing up Duffey and Acter shortly there after to see if one can "stick" as the 7th inning guy. I think it would be dangerous for the Twins to not make a trade and solely rely on some of their minor league arms, impressive and as high ceiling as they may be, we have all seen the results this year with how rookies are very up and down, a guy like Benoit or Clippard etc in the 8th at least stabilizes your 6 most important outs in a game.
  22. I think Gibson was exposed the other day, he is a solid pitcher no doubt and will have a long and solid career, but he simply lacks the stuff to be a front of the rotation type, good teams and good hitters are too much for him. (Which is who you face in the playoffs anyways) I'd still trade any of Rosario berrios or Gibson for tulo though
