    By my count the Twins are 10 games over .500 vs teams not named the Yankees or Brewers. They play zero games down the stretch against those teams, by my fuzzy math they should be fine

    Escobar had a really nice game, but comparing him to plouffe is about as silly as comparing Blaine Boyer to Mariano Rivera because of his performance tonight. Let's pump the breaks a tad. Escobar can be a solid stop gap for this year and maybe next, but it's going to take more than a hot streak over a couple weeks to convince me he is the SS of the future or someone to pencil in for the next 4 years
