    agreed 100% Vargas isn't worth worrying about service time wise, buxton and Sano are worth it, Berrios...who knows, I wouldn't worry about it personally.

    Please. The only teams not in the conversation currently are Seattle, Oakland and Boston. Have they exceeded expectations? Sure. But let's not make it seem like they are battling it out with KC for the division title (which should ALWAYS be the first goal out of spring training) The small bench has killed them. The weird bullpen has killed them (but they have finally looked decent as of late) in a race this right every single game counts, you need to give your team a chance every night

    but Herrman is a terrible hitter (possibly the worst position player in all of the MLB) no matter what side of the plate it's on. Hell, have buxton try to bunt on, the percentages are a lot better than Herrmann doing anything.

    If you absolutely must PH for buxton (which you shouldn't) then why not have Rosario PH for him and just have Robinson swing away the at bay prior? Or hell, put Nunez in, not a career .550 OPS guy who has zero speed to boot.

    Herrmann is a career .190 hitter with a .551 OPS....there is zero reason he should EVER PH for anyone other than a pitcher. Or maybe, show a tad bit of confidence in buxton who was 4 out of 9 prior to this game.

    everything has been hard hit all night. At some point you need to actually strike a guy out once in a while. His success earlier this year was pure smoke and mirrors. He is ok as a pitching depth guy, but Berrios is the much superior option at this point

    Milone looks terrible these last few starts. Berrios needs to take his spot in the rotation next go around.
