  1. Let's just say we and by we I mean pretty much everyone will agree to disagree with the thought that Ryan is headed to Cooperstown.
  2. It's especially frustrating because the cost for some very good RP was so low this year at the deadline. They definitely need two arms, or if you are only going to get one arm, at least figure out a way to upgrade back up catcher, bench bat, 4th OF or something.
  3. since the twins can't send him to the minors, that is what the DFA would essentially be? (I'm not sure myself)
  4. do you happen to work for sportsradar or stats?
  5. Fantastic analysys by the way!
  6. I posted the first ten games of the last two seasons. One would think if hunter was moving tickets, people would be showing up more early in the season, when in fact they were showing up less. Some people refuse to admidt it was anything less than a good signing. "Ticket sales" "leadership" etc
  7. It's not like he is going to go all Liriano on us if he leaves, he might rebound, but even then you are looking at a #3/#4 guy at absolute best(which is actually a big problem with the signing in the first place) A lot of people freaked about Worley finding some success as well, but it never really lasted, I would guess nolsaco would be the same.
  8. It's not a drug of abuse, a treatment facility would be pointless. What an idiot, how do you make that mistake twice? The Twins should just cut him now.
  9. because a guy like shields brings a ton more value to the rotation. It would then allow you to trade a guy like Milone or Gibson at that stage to open up a spot for berrios. Shields Santana Hughes Gibson berrios Not bad.
  10. Not sure 86 even gets it done, Texas is playing GREAT ball these days and now we are 1.5 back. They need to win games like today. Now because of that let down they have to make up that win somewhere else...IE sweep Houston instead of 2 out of 3
  11. Nice my ass! I have sent him $39,000+ over the last 12 months and I still haven't seen my 4.5 million!
  12. Meyer could be that impact guy who instantly fixes the pen. Meyer in the 7th May in the 8th Jepsen in the 9th Even better if Perk comes back
  13. Yeah i mentioned the Kepler bit in the game thread. I agree with you there.
  14. The bullpen was ok the first half but most could tell it was smoke and mirrors, which is what happens when you have a bunch of guys with poor k rates and poor k/Bob ratios.
  15. speaking of Texas, I will never forget that Latroy Hawkins game from like a decade ago. This loss sucked, but it wasn't gut punching/heart breaking.
  16. Irrelevant. Smith was the GM, which means he made the final call. (And ultimately who would be held accountable for said moves)
  17. Call me crazy, but I would rather have had Arcia as a PH today instead of Santana....
  18. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  19. Should have signed Nelson Cruz like I was touting all year.
  20. Hicks being back is going to be so nice, as will having Sano back in the lineup.
  21. Also, "having a good time going to a twins game" and "wanting the team to be better" are not mutually exclusive things.
  22. COTY
