    Thompson is constantly getting clubbed around. Albers hasn't pitched since June 17 Bromberg worked out of the bullpen last outing. Perhaps the Twins are at the point to leave NB alone and let them compete for a tile,and let Roch go with as many filler-types as necessary to hang around .500.

    Why does Mastro need to be "looked at" more? he's a 4th outfielder who can run and play all 3 spots. That's realized already. I'm for getting a corner outfielder to the bigs that can the dang ball out, rather than slash/dash. Twins are already littered with too many of them. Take last night. Dozier hitting sixth, with "weaker" guys 7-9 Only with the Twins.

    Gotta keep Rivera and his veteran presence in the Roch lineup as much as possible you know. And keep Herrmann motivated to make the playoffs with the future outfield.

    Butera is helpful behind the dish. On a team with a short bench to start with, he's an unnecessary luxury. How many times has Dozier(who I support) or Carroll come up and the situation screams pinch-hitter? And who do you have on the bench. Casilla Mastro Butera. THE WORST BENCH IN BASEBALL.

    Agreed. I like how he's working the outside pitch. The tendency would be to pull everything if you're ripping HRs. He'll have to jump on mistakes. lost of off-speed. But this is ok with me thus far. Again, with runners on, agreed, has to be better. The at bats don't seem like give-aways, or all/nothing.

    Let him pass through waivers, and if he's there, then sign him to a minor league deal, let Bobby Cuellar work with him. If he doesn't pan out, cut him loose. No way should the Twins sign this guy to any Major League deal. The numbers are Matt Maloney-like.

    Terry Ryan said yesterday his defense has to improve to move up to FM this year. I say, who cares? Let him try it for the last month of the season.

    Fans WON'T come out if you put out another losing product. I agree with you Highabove, because the Twins cut back on the budget this year, with 'declining revenue'; just thing what next year will be as they cut salary off with dropping several pitching $$$, yet don't add anything in because there is less revenue. Blech.
