    I think that 2/15 would be an overpay for Suzuki. Also, Suzuki has to agree to it. It sounds like he wants more than that anyway.

    Honestly I don't see a Suzuki trade or extension happening now. I think they'll hold on to him for the rest of the season hoping to work out a new contract. Willingham and Correia will be traded in August.

    It should just be two. Neither Pinto nor Suzuki should be the DH at all.

    Poor Lance's cockpit was positioned inside of Voltron's right knuckles. The one that held the Blazing Sword and swung around a lot. That must have been nauseating.

    I'm sure if I was an ESPN insider I could point out how ZIPS projects Revere, Florimon, Dozier, Carroll, and Plouffe to pick up the slack for all those regressing guys.

    Opening day? Maybe not, but I think Hicks could give De Vries and Deduno a run for their money in that rotation.

    Don't look now because Houston may bring the AL West down a bit. The Yankees will always be good. I think the Orioles are for real and the Rays are solid. The Red Sox are just a major spending spree from being relevant again. IMO, the AL East will be the best division for the forseeable future.

    Well, on the bunting during a no-hitter thing... If it's 5-0 I don't want Revere bunting even if it is a no-hitter. Down by 5 runs that late I want him to try and hit a double and get into scoring position rather than bunt to try and break up the no-hitter. If it's 1-0, I say bunt away.

    The nicknames are rather childish. Some of the players, the young ones especially, need the manager to be an authority rather than a buddy.

    Ryan would have said the team was going to be OK with quick fixes regardless of what he really thought. The Twins didn't want to declare they're rebuilding because it would hurt gate revenue.

    At the time this was planned Gardy didn't know just how bad it would be for the team right now. Your analogy doesn't fit unless Gardy decides to suddenly take an extra day or two off while he's gone.

    Doumit allowed a runner to go from 2nd to 3rd by nearly throwing the ball into the visitors' dugout. And then Gardy left Revere on the bench in the top of the 9th...
