    Absolutely. It just makes me regret that he isn't on the Twins anymore. Would still do that trade again, though. Maeda is awesome, too.

    Thanks for the very interesting interview with Tom. He sounds great and I hope we see him at Target Field in the future. If you can arrange it, I'd love to hear from one of the 2020 draft picks who just came into the organization.

    I bet you didn't want it THAT interesting... On the other hand, wouldn't it be nice if the cheaters got their hopes up only to have them crushed in G7? Go Rays!

    Horrible send. But even more questionable is the challenge. You could easily see that Luis didn't touch the plate. Are we just challenging and hoping the umps are blind?

    Let's hope that Kirilloff's nerves are made of something stronger than steel. He'll need it. Buxton on the bench has to be concussion related, right?

    They can assure all they want that they are not affected at all by this 17 losses in a row, it's a lie. As soon as the game was out of hand they have no trouble getting two hits. Only for Astudillo to ruin it. Why him? Yes, he makes contact, but all for easy outs. Was a terrible decision to pull Jeffers in the first place.

    But to get the Twins credit, luck was really on the Astros' side here. At least no pathetic Ks this time.

    Cubs finally got out of the inning...

    I just hope this game doesn't go into extra innings. Last thing the Twins need is to burn a few extra pitchers in a basically meaningless game.

    He probably won't lose it today because Rocco will only see the two outs and not the two runners left on base. Rocco is really great at motivating his players with his confidence in them but this can also be somewhat of a flaw. Sometimes I feel he is just wants to be too nice to them and holds on to clearly slumping players.

    Let's also hope that the lineup can get some insurance runs so that any pitching lapses are not punished immediately.

    What a catch, Marwin. Berríos looking pretty good so far.

    Wisler had some bad luck there. All this soft contact just found really bad spots where the Twins couldn't do anything about it.

    Fortunately, it doesn't really matter since Maeda needed only four more pitches to finish the inning for good. Let's just hope Sanó is okay.

    Why do the Twins never tell Buck to steal??? Or at least a hit and run. This is just an awful situation to hit into a double play.

    Something I noticed watching Garvers few ABs since his return: He has taken a lot of pitches at the beginning and only started swinging in 2-strike counts. In that AB just now Skubal served him a fastball right down the middle first and Garver just watched.
