  1. Oh Rocco, why can't you just let Jeffers hit? He hit some bombas lately...
  2. Oh Max. Bad enough that he is slumping offensively but at least until now we could rely on him being a great defensive right fielder.
  3. Now Buck, get a 3-HR game. By the way, has he ever had one?
  4. We got lucky there. Even if luck had Trevor May for help.
  5. A hit that's not a homer. Wow.
  6. Great win tonight. You know what the best thing is? Tomorrow's starter for the Sox is not Keuchel. Instead the Twins get to play against Reynaldo Lopez again.
  7. It was against the Astros. Very commendable, Kyle.
  8. Well done, Cody. I also agree, this HP ump has been great. A shame we can't have him for the rest of the season.
  9. Has to be hard to come back only to get shut down by something that stupid. Hope it's not too big of an issue.
  10. Yikes, if that ballpark was just a little bit smaller...
  11. Nice job, Eddie! Despite being a little lucky I found Odo's inning encouraging. He was generating a lot of whiffs with his high fastball again. It's just eye test but his last starts left me with the impression that he hadn't really managed that.
  12. Duffey, Clippard, Wisler. Maybe even Alcala.
  13. That's not the problem, just look at Alcala stranding these two runners with two strikeouts. The pen is fine. The problem is that Rogers, as much as we all loved him last year, is not good this season but is still constantly used in very close games. Sometimes it somehow worked out, but still. Admittedly, the offense did it's part today.
  14. Why does Rocco refuse to understand that this version of Rogers isn't a high-leverage pitcher anymore??? At the moment I trust about every pitcher in our bullpen more than Rogers. Everytime he pitches we get in trouble!
  15. Hope Rogers has one of his better days.
  16. Nellie has a truly terrible day...
  17. Without looking it up: That guy of the Brewers, Perdomo?
  18. Unfortunately the Sox seem to disagree.
  19. That was the first 1-2-3 inning of the game. With the score at 1-1. Ridiculous.
  20. I just wondered exactly the same thing.
  21. Especially considering that this is his third pro game at 1st.
  22. Maybe we should hope for this since it seems like we can't bring in a lead off runner in any other way.
