    I agree, but everything I've read and heard regarding Lewis....I doubt he's in favor of playing 1st. The last time the Twins got "creative " they moved Sano from 3rd to RF. We all know how well that worked.

    The Twins will resign Topa, trying to squeeze every ounce out of the Polanco trade…while hoping Gonzalez doesn’t make the trade a total bust. On the other hand. Gonzalez has to be added to the 40 man roster to avoid Rule 5. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Twins cut Topa to make room for Gonzalez.

    Cole Sands fits in nicely as a supportive role, however, like his name implies. You don’t build on him… you just hope he’s still holding the drywall when the studs disappear....and those results were mixed.

    The Twins will probably trade Ryan-Lopez-Buxton....why wouldn't they? Will it matter? With Falvey at the helm, the Twins will always be 5 years away from being competitive again.

    Wow...I did some research. Fisher is probably the worst owner in all of the major sports. He knows what he's doing however. He sees the goldmine by moving the team to Vegas.

    Your pattern suggests that for Popkins, Minnesota was a cage vs Toronto being a playground. In Toronto: More freedom, coachable players, and players who can execute his vision? Would love to hear Popkins speak on this, but that rarely happens.

    Totally agree here. It's nitpicking and minor, and I've mentioned i work in advertising....but...there’s actually a defined “DodgerBlue” color in HTML/CSS (#1E90FF), which shows how iconic that shade is.

    Hmmmm......Blue Jay's bats are shredding Yankees pitchers for the 2nd game in a row as I type. Hey Joe!!! Just an idea, I know it's over the top....but.... The Twins should hire away the Jay's hitting coach.

    I get that some folks think fan criticism is just whining, but let’s be real, this isn’t just venting for the sake of it. Fans buy the tickets, wear the gear, follow every move. When the front office doesn’t explain the plan or keeps repeating the same mistakes, what do you expect fans to do, just clap politely? If leadership won’t explain the plan, expect the fans on TD to reverse-engineer it.

    Seattle has never even been to the WS much less won...48 years! Imagine 14 more years and counting. Colorado and SD have never won, but at least made an appearance.

    Absolutely true. I use to watch 80% of Twins game...this year...probably saw 20%. Several times...just turned the game off

    But it comes down to the FO making great trades and savvy FA signings. Both 87 and 91 teams were retooled this way to add to a strong core. By "we" your referring to the Pohlads and Falvey. Good luck....you'll need it.

    Falvey’s moves have consistently weakened the team rather than strengthened it. The article is looking at the full body of his work. Far more misses than hits. The Dodgers aren’t just rich, they’re smart. Their baseball decisions consistently put them ahead, while the Twins often tinker without real results.
