    It was great to see Dick Bremer honored before the game today. No disrespect to him at all, as I genuinely like the man. However, some of the overt embellishment he used to praise the front office and the organization made me cringe.

Now we’re suffering from a self-inflicted headache, and the prescribed antidote is to go out and be a buyer? 2025 sellers 2026 buyers 2027 sellers? This FO treats roster construction like a day trader chasing micro-trends.

    Question: When, if ever, is this front office going to take a true, committed long-term view? The Case: Blowing up the bullpen last year was a bold, necessary acknowledgment of where this team stood. It allowed us to restock the farm system with potential franchise-altering talent. But a full-scale rebuild takes patience. Why rush to "fix" the bullpen today before we’ve even verified that we have a stable, championship-level core of position players and starting pitching to build upon? Trading away assets right now just to patch over immediate, temporary leaks is shortsighted. Claim: Sacrificing tomorrow to band-aid today is exactly what keeps this franchise trapped in a continuous, exhausting cycle of mediocrity.

    How can you possibly use the word "respect" in a completely judgemental statement? How would you have a clue what my world view is? I let facts and numbers do the talking. Minneapolis can't even hire the mandatory number of police officers to stay legal. And will soon be facing the consequences. ●●● The court has given the city until January 4, 2027, to comply with the charter mandate. If the city remains under 731 officers by that deadline, the mayor faces a trial in April 2027 where he could be held in contempt of court.

    Which is surprising....how many times the Twins have been featured this year on Apple Friday night games...4x already. Plus, the Twins vs Philadelphia game is the iconic Field of Dreams game this year. Another Prime Time game for a non-prime time roster.

    Another "Apples to Oranges " comparison that fails with reality. ● The Twins Fan Base: relies heavily on suburban families pulling out of driveways from places like Lakeville, Woodbury, or Plymouth. They are looking for a classic, seamless, secure "family night out" experience. vs ● The Loons Fan Base: Soccer clubs thrive on a younger, hyper-localized, urban demographic. I can only speak for myself. I'm not risking a night downtown with my family when I can watch from home....but even watching from home is dropping off severely.

    The math tells the story: The Inventory Reality The Minnesota Lynx: 20 home games \times ~19,000 capacity = 380,000 total tickets to sell per year. Minnesota United (Loons): 17 home games \times ~19,500 capacity = 331,500 total tickets to sell per year. The Minnesota Twins: 81 home games \times ~38,500 capacity = 3,118,500 total tickets to sell per year. Comparing Twins to Lynx next door is classic "Apples to Oranges"... it's not logical.
