  1. Wasn't strike 3 but close I guess
  2. Big man laid out for that grounder albeit slowly
  3. That was something Dozier could do with RISP - lol! He did hit it fairly hard - good play by Lindor.
  4. Well Magill is getting lit up today - several hard shots - actually I think everyone has hit him hard so far.
  5. A great catch and tag at 2nd base by Adrianza I believe - unfortunately the run scored.
  6. Polanco covered some ground on that play - very nice!
  7. Off the wall and completely unimportant observation as I am watching the facebook feed - and I have seen this from other broadcasts as well. In the box that tracks score, count on the batter, pitch count, and number of outs - I have noticed their are only 2 dots to keep track of the number of outs. I can understand the concept - by the time you reach 3 outs you don't show the box any more so there is really no need to show 3 dots but somehow it still troubles me slightly. I am always looking for how many outs there are out of the 3 outs especially if there are no outs and you are trying to figure out what the 2 dots represent.
  8. After trading Escobar and Pressly - not too surprised they also traded Dozier even for the small return we got. No way they were offering him a QO. Getting Forsythe back is a bit curious though since they were making the same amount - seems like that should have increased our return. Be interesting to see who is playing 2B and the other infield spots the rest of the season. Does Polanco move to 2B and Adrianza at SS? Do we keep Forsythe? He has played a little 3B in the past as well. If we thought Dozier was having a bad year - well Forsythe is worse.
  9. Escobar was my favorite Twin player - I hope we bring him back next year but doesn't seem likely or we would have resigned him earlier.
  10. Agree - Escobar was a fun player to watch and root for and was key player to our team this year. Please also ship out or cut Dozier, Morrison, Lynn, Rodney and Duke. As far as whether this is a good trade or not - who knows. The odds of us doing anything this year were extremely low - the 3 players we got back are all in the low minors and not in Arizona's top 10 prospects. A pitcher with good K rate so may have some potential, an older outfielder who has a good batting eye, a young outfielder who can run and also has a good batting eye so at least that is encouraging. Good question on who plays 3B now - do we bring up Sano or Astrudillo?
  11. Well Rodney came through just like we all thought - by scaring the crap out of us.
  12. Rodney usually has a way to make the game interesting - he is all about the entertainment.
  13. Hmm, I would have thought it would be due to a Left Swing impingement for Logan - thanks for the update!! Grossman batting 4th make me a little uneasy but he has been hitting better lately and looking at the rest of the choices I don't see too many other options.
  14. Good mound visit - let’s throw one that clips him in the ankle.
  15. Gross man flashing the leather - looked like Kepler out there
  16. Gross man - good play by Mondesi it’s his night
  17. We take 4 straight from the Orioles and now the O’s have taken 2 out of 3 from the Yankees who we can’t beat. Youneverknow.
  18. Dozier should have gone the other way with that pitch.
  19. I agree on the player development/coaching. Why are many of the players falling below their career averages - what about the horrible base running. We changed several coaches at the major league and minor league level and we seemed to take a step back. How could Sano and Buxton regress with no sign that they get back to what they have already accomplished in the majors.
  20. And the dude is making very weak contact - even his pop-ups are low and only make it to the first row of the seats.
  21. Ugh a weak groundout - yep should have had Odorizzi batting 8th. They might have walked him though to get to Wilson.
  22. We got Wilson up - he 's due!
