  1. This has been a wonderful season - congrats to the Twins on a Great Year. Cleveland kept the pressure on but the Twins sure responded well. On a side note - this is the first season I have purchased MLB.TV and I could not have had any better timing - getting to watch most of the games in this Division Championship year! Been a long time but sure is sweet.
  2. Nice play to touch the bag by Schoop
  3. Get those errors out of your system in a blowout
  4. Rogers restored sanity, nice comeback win!
  5. I would like to see Gonzalez at first - especially when Buxton gets back. Adrianza and Sano make me nervous playing there as well.
  6. I think we may need 10 runs tonight so we are headed in the right direction!
  7. Can we find someone who can play defense decently at first base. Cron backed away when he attempted to tag him.
  8. Agreed - Gibson should be pulled after the lead off double - even with the unknown of how the bullpen will perform
  9. Just tuning in - this is not looking good at the moment
  10. Are we breaking any unwritten rules by scoring so many runs? I guess if our batter gets drilled we will know
  11. Rally time and Mr Sano up! Now it’s getting good
  12. Both teams choose to wear dark jerseys in 100 degree weather.
  13. Great efficient outing by May - 2 innings with no stress!
  14. Well look who’s coming in Shawn Kelley. Please take him deep
  15. Cuzzi revisited - don’t know how you don’t challenge that - major blunder
  16. Whew! Sweating those last 3 innings out!
  17. Kelley is a bit of a red-ass - I remember when he was pitching for Washington last year the manager came to take him out and he pitched a fit and threw his glove down. Washington released him after that episode. Also about a month ago he was called in to pitch and hurt his arm warming-up and had to come out before throwing a pitch - he also reacted angrily then coming into the dugout and throwing his glove (with his good arm - lol ). So I am pretty sure this was on purpose.
  18. I commented on the game thread so won;t repeat. I will say I think it should have ended when Cave acknowledged his mistake at first base - he was either unaware of the rule or didn't realize the count? CJ Nitkowski on a radio show here in Dallas mentioned today, the Rangers were still shifting on Cave - so he has no problem with Cave swinging on the 3-0 pitch. If they are still playing full force why can't both teams? I mean otherwise just have a slaughter rule and call the game. No one is backing that Kepler should have been hit except Kelley. Hope he pitches again in the series and Kepler takes him deep.
  19. I was watching the Rangers broadcast and they did not mention anything so I totally missed this but did think Kepler getting hit was a little strange. I wasn't aware swinging on a 3-0 pitch was an offense - some of these unwritten rules seem like they were made up by 8 year olds. I wonder what the combination of runs your behind and inning violates the "rule" . Maybe like the no pitch intentional walk - baseball can come up with a "you violated an unwritten rule and offended our team" indication or sign so the batter can just take first base without taking one in the ribs or shoulder.
  20. Smeltzer is getting a workout and a 4 inning save!
