  1. This team is not good - if we can’t find 4 relievers better on the street than the crap we are rolling out shame on the front office.
  2. Same pattern all year, our bullpen blows.....leads. Our offense seems to shut down after 5 innings as well. Any takers on if we will pull this out in extra innings?
  3. Wonderful start! 20 more of those and we may have a lead our bullpen can't blow.
  4. Not sure our bullpen could be much worse - it is a slow painful torture to even watch them pitch.
  5. Classic Twins loss this year!
  6. Kirilloff tattoos the ball but right at the right-fielder. Meanwhile Cleveland scores 2 runs without hitting the ball at all.
  7. Another inherited runner scores - the painful way
  8. Props to Buxton!! Nice hitting!
  9. A starter still going strong in the 8th inning.
  10. The bullpen struggle is real
  11. Well it appears we hit our run limit of three
  12. I don’t know why the heck our pitchers are throwing so many meatballs.
  13. The one thing we are far and away best at this year is letting inherited runners score
  14. On the other hand we are trying to break the K record for the Catcher position.
  15. Nice to see the Lefties going opposite field - kudos to Cave for changing his approach.
  16. Agreed, Baldelli won't be fired anytime soon. I do find some of his decisions very strange but any reliever he puts in there is giving up runs. There are dead spots in the line-up. Their current record is very well-deserved to how they have played.
  17. Cave should only be out there as a defensive replacement - don't want to see him bat. He has been trending down since his first year with the Twins. Below are a list of Twins players with ridiculous strike out percentages per Plate Appearances so far - AL average is 24% Rooker 50% Jeffers 47% Garver 41% Cave 38% Sano 34% I checked and Broxton in his career has struck out in 39% of his plate appearances so he may not be any better than Cave plus he is not on the 40-man roster. So bring Kiriloff up, send Rooker down and hope Buxton can play everyday until Kepler is back. The Catchers need to make some contact as well.
  18. Alright - my 3 hours of watching is up - I'll leave on a winning note - cheer them on to the win.
  19. Need another Cave single here - 3rd swinging strike wild pitch
  20. Yes, Oakland is Twinsing it in the field now.
  21. OK, this is just sad Maeda is throwing batting practice
  22. I did enjoy the few minutes of our lead.
  23. That is what we call a Cave single - a good at bat when you can reach on a swinging strike-out
  24. It is a joy to watch an Arraez at-bat - what a battler
