  1. I'd lay the juice that they do not.
  2. But people are going to hang onto that OPS+ of 102 or something. Gallo continuing to be in this lineup is malpractice and insanity.
  3. And he follows it up with a 1-9 with 4 Ks to begin this week. Classic Twins.
  4. Gallo in the lineup, again. What are we doing here?
  5. Lewis, Polanco, Stewart, and Thielbar. It'll be just like making a trade!
  6. From rags to riches, right? LOL
  7. When it happened, we all thought the deal the Twins got him to sign was a good one for the team. Little did we know, huh?
  8. You missed the point. It isn't that he said it - it is just the idea that these guys are "owning" up to how bad they stink.
  9. Valid - but if the team gets hot for a week, and then falters for the next three weeks, what is next? I'd be willing to bet that the week the offense gets hot is when they face teams like the Royals or A's.
  10. "What's nice, and what I respect from our core group of players, is that they're not backing down from their performance. They own up to it," Pohlad said. "And that's something that I really respect and I think all of our fans should respect." Gee, I am so glad that guys making millions playing a game can own up to their ineptitude. What a positive development, folks.
  11. Exactly. Firing Popkins for this abomination of an offensive season so far is such a weak cop-out.
  12. Yep - this type of debacle should lay at the feet of the manager and even someone(s) in the FO.
  13. If this team had just an average-ish type offense, this division race would be over. This is such a colossal failure on everyone's part.
  14. Firing Popkins should happen - but so should firing Baldelli. Firing a hitting coach is such a low hanging fruit decision.
