    1. Dobnak could be in the majors a long time if he gets a little better control. 2. I’m going to miss Kaat (who should be in Cooperstown) and Bert Blyleven in the booth when they inevitably retire. Morneau should be the replacement, NOT Smalley. 3. Everybody pitched well for the most part, Even May’s pitch was incredibly lucky to get out. 4. 6.5 games up! Twins win!

    Why is Target Field being used as a FCS football stadium in the middle of a playoff push? I don’t criticize the Pohlads a lot, but I don’t get this at all.

    Tim Melville, who started a game for the Twins in 2017, was recently called up by the Rockies and is currently 1-0 with a 0.75 era in 12 innings

    This offseason, I could honestly see Rosario getting traded for some pitching help, and have Cave/Buxton/Kepler outfield, with Rooker/Kirilloff/Larnach/Raley fighting for corner OF/1B time. I love Eddie, but his lack of OBP ability really hurts him

    As much hating on the bullpen I’ve done in the past, it could be pretty solid once September begins: Rogers, Dyson, Romo, Duffey, Graterol, May, Thorpe, Harper

    Note on the God Bless America singer (should be Take Me Out to the Ballgame btw): If you can’t hit the high note at least 95% of the time, sing it an octave lower when performing. Felt bad for the guy when his voice cracked for that entire final long note
