    And the yelling of racism about it was never so loud until the Dylann Roof incident .... He isn't your typical white southerner, and he is rightly on death row for his psycho actions. Flying the flag because being butt-hurt about the union victory has been passed down to you through the generations doesn't make you a racist. Flying the flag because you are anti-liberal doesn't make you a racist. Crying racism is just a virtue signaling tool of the far left to conjure up guilt from the weak-minded and further their agenda.

    No, but I have talked to people that think we should respect and empathize with the people doing so. We proabably should, but the same people want to broad stroke everyone who displays a southern battle flag.

    Schoop is certainly in a funk at the plate. Even when he does lock in on the pitch he's looking for, he seems to be fouling it more often than not. I'm hoping he comes out of it, because he's been steady at second with an amazing arm. Otherwise, he may need to just be on the slight side of a platoon. I can't see dealing him. The clutch numbers posted are definitely concerning. I hope they give Arraez a Polanco contract, because he certainly appears to be the real deal. He's also fun to watch.

    Stashak has got to be an add, if he isn't already on the 40 sooner. I would think the Marlins could use someone like Zander Wiel, Jaylin Davis or Lamonte Wade Jr. Their outfield is pretty bad.

    Mr. Hands, I mean Max Kepler, sticking it to Bauer was awesome. The self-proclaimed 2019 Cy Young award winner is going to be feasting on a whole murder of crow by season's end. Leading the league in only innings and hit batters doesn't typically result in Cy Young awards. He may not even be top 10.

    The players have a job in the entertainment industry. I pay money to be entertained by them. I'm not going to be as entertained if even more of the good ones end up in the big market locations and even less end up in the small/mid-market locations that I follow. I'm not going to be in favor of any plan that allows the big markets have more opportunity for advantage. Stop virtue signaling how much we're supposed to care about where the players wish to live and work. The don't have to play pro baseball. I'm all for the players getting a bigger chunk of the profits, but it should start in the minor leagues. Of course, that won't happen, since the union doesn't represent them or their interests very well.
