  1. Contact play.....BUT only for the guy on third base!!!! ELITE analytics Rocco!!!
  2. Is it coincidence that Jax has sucked since he blew that 9th inning save????
  3. I feel better knowing we still have Mickey Gasper on the roster.....
  4. But i'm glad that the genius Rocco pitch-ran Bader for Julien earlier in the inning..... I don't care RH vs. LH.....anyone rather have Gasper hitting in that situation rather than Bader?????
  5. Mickey Gasper hitting with the tying and winning runs on base in the bottom of the 9th and then CHECK SWINGING for the final out is all you need to need to know about this season.....
  6. This guy is the crew chief???? May be one of the worst zones all year...BOTH WAYS!
  7. Last season, I screamed repeatedly about Rocco pulling pictures too early… But I didn’t have as much of an issue with this one. If you look at the sixth, Ober was clearly tiring He was lucky to get out of the sixth without giving up a run.. The last out was a rocket into center that Bader made a nice catch on. He was starting to run on fumes. And frankly, Sands has been so good, I thought it was the right move.
  8. The odds that we would’ve turned a double play without fumbling the ball or messing up a throw were probably pretty low…
  9. Almost… And I did say almost as bad as Jax’s throw was the fact that Julian turned and threw a missile to third base when Witt was basically standing on it. Miranda had to do a sprawling save to prevent it from going out into left field. It’s a throw that most high school players would be smart enough not to make.
  10. It’s like watching a Little League team
  11. But shouldn't it be a dead ball once it hits Buxton's helmet?? Otherwise, couldn't a guy theoretically kick a ball to allow for a steal???? Strange play..
  12. That legitimately could've been 5 shutout innings for SWR with any type of defense behind him.....
  13. if you can't turn a double play on that grounder by Witt, it ain't ever gonna happen. Willi doesn't even attempt a throw.....disgusting defense all around tonight and it's the 2nd inning.
  14. The baseball action is actually pretty good… Unlike a lot of baseball movies where the baseball scenes look ridiculous, the actor’s actually look like they knew what they’re doing…
  15. Rocco is the worst manager in all of baseball. This game reminds me of Alcala’s blowup last year. Expect a 6-7 game losing streak to follow. You have a closer. Let him close. I’ve said it 100 x’s. So. Freaking. Stupid.
  16. A team like the twins can’t miss on the guy that they pay $33 million a year to….. Correa supposed to be a superstar, and superstars step up and carry a team whe. they start out like this. Just gross.
  17. Perez blowing 85 and 86 MPH fastballs by Bader and Vazquez.....holy crap.
  18. Ober is topping out at about 90 mph with a lot of 88-89. I know he doesn’t throw gas, but that is still concerning. Just throwing batting practice.
  19. Walked 3 guys today in 2/3 of an inning. Terrible timing to pitch brutally.....
  20. It's truly unbelievable......I mean it's a 90 foot sprint. There are multi-million dollar clubhouses below the dugouts and probably a dozen trainers on staff. Maybe he needs to be. getting stretched/massaged between innings, but to see a professional athlete go down two seasons in a row just running the bases boggles the mind.
  21. Not necessarily an excuse, but you're correct. Played old-man baseball in the Roy Hobbs World Series at the Florida spring training fields, and pop-ups were nearly impossible. I don't know why. Sunglasses didn't seem to help either. Also, the winds are so hard to read and seem to shift constantly compared to the Midwest.
