    Bring back Mauer on a 1 year deal in the $7-12m area. And please have him be our extra bat on the bench. Let him start 60-80 games and the rest use him to PH.

    Very good question. Not very often do you see a guy that can rake at AA not hit in AAA. I could see the FO wanting the younger player, ie Gordon, to get some tips from guys that have been in the bugs already.

    I could see a C with one of the top 2 picks, but prefer to stick to BPA approach. Good arms and bats are always in need

    It is nice to have 3 spots with solid pitchers and a 4th when Santana comes back. If Gibson and/or Hughes fail, we have some decent options waiting in the wings. I hope the days of retread SPs is gone for a long time. We might not have an ace, but we don't have 3 #5 pitchers in the rotation either
