  1. Seriously. With a name like that, he should be selling propane and propane accessories.
  2. This just further enhances the mind-boggling performance that Trout makes seem routine. He's good.
  3. Well this just got weird https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/27011227/ortiz-shooting-case-mistaken-identity
  4. I mean if it's yasiel puig I don't blame him for yelling
  5. If we're getting Bumgarner might as well see if Will Smith is available too. I'd do that trade
  6. Cleveland might actually pay us to take him off their hands
  7. Apparently Eddie didn't actually break any rules on that bunt. Cora says he's sorry for whining https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/red-sox/heres-rule-had-alex-cora-hopping-mad-until-he-realized-umpires-hadnt-gotten-it-wrong-after
  8. Is it okay to hope for our third 8-homer game of the season? Or is that asking too much?
  9. I have to disagree. I'm disagreeing with the thought. Buck should have an opportunity to win the MVP. He's definitely putting up MVP-level stats. However he won't win the AL MVP because of Mike Trout. Someone would have to have a season for the ages to knock Trout off that throne. I feel like the voters are making up for those years he finished second when he really was the best.
  10. Get on the turtle train. We can always make more room and it's slow enough that we won't have to stop so you can hop on
  11. "Trevor Hildenberger pitched a perfect bottom of the seventh to pick up his first save for Rochester." I do like the sound of that
  12. Ok. Adrianza, Astudillo, Cave, Tyler Austin and Luis Arraez aren't playing as well or better than Marwin. You asked.
  13. Seems that our bullpens real weakness is the long ball. Let's figure that out and see where this dog and pony show ends.
  14. This just hit the wire. Apparently Carlos Carrasco has been diagnosed with some sort of blood condition. Hopefully he gets the medical care he needs to get back on the field. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/26904907/carrasco-blood-condition-indefinitely
  15. Possibly. I never got to see a Twins game at the metrodome (grew up in NC). Caught Vikings games there twice when visiting, which was fun, but I'm not really certain how the park played for baseball
  16. This may just be me conflating my wishes into reality but for some reason I was under the impression that if the ball hit the roof in the trop it was considered a dead ball. Would it have been a hit if Adames didn't catch it?
  17. You, sir, are a codger after my own heart. The nats going to sell mode has me all a-flutter. Why stop at Scherzer? See what they want for Doolittle and Strasburg. Then take the deal we like the most.
  18. Every team should always have two or three guys who are untouchable. If you're in the habit of trading your best prospects it had better be for more than just an ace on an expiring contract for the stretch run. I don't care how good the "ace" is. If you're packaging Royce Lewis in a deal, you'd better be getting a guy like Scherzer or prime Clayton Kershaw with several years left on their deal. Otherwise you end up where the tigers are right now. I don't want to be where the tigers are right now.
  19. I'd bet on the Marlins. They'd trade anybody. Not that they have anybody really good it's just you did say "ANY team"
