  1. Joey Gallo is just one of the most impossible baseball players I've ever seen. It's like he's two different players depending on whether he's holding a bat or wearing a glove. As a cohesive whole, he makes no sense.
  2. The Twins just saw Matt Wallner's line in STP and put Kepler on the IL.
  3. It's a better indicator of future performance than current record, though.
  4. Yeah, he didn't have much to be upset about there.
  5. That's rather unreasonable. Getting hit with a pitch often leads to soreness and being taken out of a game and possibly injury.
  6. If nothing else, I'm glad Royce wasn't carted off the field after digging out a cubic yard of turf with his right knee on that over the shoulder catch attempt.
  7. The Twins are behind by multiple runs. The good Pagan is almost a guarantee in that situation.
  8. Maybe not a bad comp but Radke was such an underrated pitcher. Did you know he's something like 150th in career pitching WAR in baseball history?
  9. Okay, my bad. But there was zero indication that Lopez would fall apart like this (and he also had weak contact assists and less than stellar defense to back him up). This was a team effort. Lopez wasn't good but this inning is a 10th percentile outcome given the balls in play.
  10. Possibly, but the rest of this division has been even more inept than the Twins. The run differential between the Twins and Tigers is nearly 100, last I checked. They're a lot worse than their record and the Guardians just keep flailing.
  11. They've legitimately been as good as their stats last I checked. It's just Lopez that has been going through an off-and-on rough patch for six-ish weeks.
  12. This comment is just... bad. The Twins are near the top of baseball in starter innings pitched. Let dumb inaccurate narratives die, please.
  13. Good lord. This is a combination of dumb luck, lackluster pitching, and not great defense.
  14. Pablo is in the midst of a not-awesome run of pitching. Thankfully he hasn't been atrocious and the rest of the rotation has still been good.
  15. Buxton out with rib soreness, I see. That's a new one, isn't it?
  16. He was a really fun player to watch but it's hard to deny the Twins got out of the Eddie Rosario business at the exact right time.
  17. I have a cold and am not going to push myself to go. First person to respond can have them.
  18. I didn't expect much out of Varland as an MLB pitcher, frankly. I'm very glad to look wrong about that.
  19. Julien missing the ball happens but not turning to cover second base afterward and just trotting away... ugh.
